Anyone Downriver that claims to know about ribs should know Zukins. The ribs are excellent and you can’t beat the price. They give you a choice of the long end or short end when you order a half slab. I’m a big fan of grilling/smoking meat I can tear off a bone and this place almost gets me to give up because of their taste and price. Ribs aren’t all, you can get anything from frog legs to lasagna (I’ve had both and they also taste great) at this place and at a very fair price. This place has become a staple of Downriver since 1978.

Ribs, Chicken, Shrimp and Fries very delicious! Unfortunately they had the name wrong and it took a minute to figure it out. Also very minimalistic interior with one of the game machines down. I don’t think anyone goes there for the ambience they go and come back for the food!

I’ve been coming here for a long time & it’s always awesome. I have only tried the ribs, though. Whole slab or short end dinners, they’re always super good. The meat is soft & fall off the bone, & they have very good sauce. Im always happy with the food & will continue coming back. 🙂

I been coming here since I was a little girl. I order the oak and fish meals. Don’t stay downriver no more. Somebody thought it was a good idea to put old chicken in my box. It’s okay I forgive you but I won’t be back. Keep the 8.00 dollars store credit. Somebody mad for no reason. Called talking about oh we got fresh chicken like I wanna come back. I already waited 45 minutes.

Not only are they always friendly but their food slaps. Most places even mess up coleslaw but they don’t. Their lasagna is perfectly layered. Their chicken & frog legs are so good.

This place is a rare find! It’s hard to find a spot that does everything well, but from their perfectly layered lasagna to their chicken and frog legs, everything is delicious. Even the basics like the coleslaw and the sandwich buns are top-notch. Friendly service and a great pizza, too. Whatever you order, you’re going to love it!

Love the Variety of entrees and very reasonable prices & respect to this lincoln park mainstay. I recently had the Hawaiian fried chicken and I was blown away! Mega good. They even have frog legs! Lol you get 2 meals worth of food on combos and can get so many options in your meals. Great on the pocket and tummy.. I can’t speak for their pizza but I’ve had almost everything else.
