My first time at a PJs and its great! Our server, Felicia, was the one who really made the experience. By far the most friendly and cordial server I have ever had at a restaurant. She deserves a raise, seriously! Extremely wonderful service. Would definitely go here again!!

After having had a rough day and week I was greeted by the most lovely, cheerful, and warm server named Angela. Remove the last A in her name and she really was an angel! She was so kind and uplifting and did an excellent job serving, especially considering all the other clients she had. I would just like to thank her and commend her to Management. From the moment we sat down, Kiara made us feel welcome with her warm smile and upbeat attitude. She was attentive without ever being intrusive, checking in just enough to make sure we had everything we needed while letting us enjoy our time together.
Her attention to detail was impressive — drinks were always topped off, food came out exactly as ordered, and she anticipated what we needed before we even asked. Beyond her professionalism, Kiara radiated genuine kindness and made the entire experience feel personal.

Didn’t really like the place before today but decided to give it another try. Great friendly waitress (Jackie),:food was ok, nice beer special ($4 for 22 oz ML) and all the NFL games. And they accommodate your game view to where you are seated. I’ll be back, definitely on a football Sunday!

Our server, Gabby, stopped a robbery. After single handedly carrying three grown men by their wrists, she provided excellent service with attention and a calm demeanor. Truly, the Whel is lucky to have a server as skilled as her! Plus, she wheeled a disabled attendant inside. The country needs more people like Gabby.

Not crowded, sat in a big booth. Next to windows. Menu looked different but all the meals I liked were listed. Usually order Mediterranean salad, but tried a different salad-one with avocado, sugared nuts, chicken, mixed greens, fresh strawberries
and an orange poppyseed dressing. My partner ordered the same thing which was a good thing because the avocado was missing from my salad and she doesn’t care for avocado so I took hers. We didn’t have dessert.

The bartenders at this PJ Whelihan’s are unbelievably disengaged and wildly inattentive. I’ve been to the bar here with friends 2 or 3 times, and each time I forget how little the bartenders seem to care…seemingly about anything or anyone. It’s like they somehow got banished to the Land of Listlessness and forgot long ago how to escape, so they just ended up giving up…on everything. The thing is…this PJ’s is really the most beautiful and unique PJ’s in the region. If it weren’t for how absolutely beautiful it is on the inside, the atmosphere would be tragically worse than what it already is…. which is a shame. The spot could really be an oasis in Medford Lakes. It’s not. The people who work there don’t care.
