Solid food overall! I ordered the veggie omelette with a hash brown topped with jalapeños (both were delicious). The coffee was excellent as well. I especially liked the entrance; the bus-like structure added a unique and appealing aesthetic. The light blue color scheme and abundance of vintage signs really tied the space together and gave it a charming vibe.

Just the cutest little hidden gem for breakfast or lunch. Loved the food, service and atmosphere! Had the special: eggs Benedict with avocado and bacon. Husband had farmers market Benedict scramble. Both were amazing.

First time here. We were on our way to the Dells and hungry for some breakfast. The place has a nice retro feel to it. The stainless steel diner has been well cared for and updated enough to make it more comfortable for staff and customers. There are some tables out front and two different seating areas inside (it’s bigger than it looks). All the cooking is done behind the counter, where you can see it all happening. It can be a bit noisy as the metal spatulas hit the grill, but you can still have a reasonable conversation. It’s a busy place, and the servers are efficient, with a no nonsense approach to taking your orders.

The menu is large, with lots of traditional favorites (no avocado toast here). There were two pages of breakfast items, and it was a tough decision. We ordered a number of different items: corned beef hash, pancakes, and potato pancakes with eggs and sausage.

It did not take very long to get our food. Very good portions, everything was plenty hot, and all flavorful. Everyone was happy with their choices. The corned beef hash was not the kind you get from a can. It was large, fresh pieces. The pork sausages were plump and well seasoned. The poached eggs were perfect. My only complaint: I ordered my potato pancakes extra crispy, but they didn’t seem “extra” to me (extra extra crispy next time). The regular pancakes were good, but not fluffy enough to be “excellent”.

A very nice place for breakfast, and somewhere we would return to.

Decided to have brunch at 12 noon and there was a small queue of around 6 people. Service was quick and everything got served in 10mins. I ordered the Prime Benedict from their specials menu board which was really good especially if you prefer something else other than ham in your Benedicts. Definitely will come back for their other dishes.

I am usually not one to complain or leave bad reviews. Unfortunately, I found a black hair in my food here. I noticed it as soon as they set my plate down in front of me, it was in my eggs. The server immediately took my plate, and brought me a new plate less than 5 minutes. It took over 15 minutes to get my food the first time. Hopefully they remade it. But by then I had lost my appetite.

However, the cinnamon rolls are really delicious and big! We split it between the 2 of us, and one was more than enough for us. I also like the whole 50s dinner vibe of the decor and music. But because of my experience, I don’t think I’ll be coming back. Or if I do, I’ll only do it for the cinnamon rolls.

I love the diner, it is nice to hear the older music. Everyone here is friendly and eager to serve. I come for the cookies they are the best I have found at restaurants. Monica our waitress usually gets us and is an absolute gem. Friendly, and accommodating.

We had a group of 5 (one in a wheel chair). It is a little snug for the chair but sooooo worth it. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Food was impeccable fast, hot and tasty. Highly recommend. Next time we are in the area we will be back.

We came here for brunch and got some of your basic breakfast foods like eggs and hash browns that were super good! The service was pretty quick for how busy it was. Our waitress was very nice and hard working. The oldies music playing definitely added to the oldies diner atmosphere. And thank you to the kind gentleman who paid for our breakfast! It really made our day. This diner was such a nice experience.

I have eaten here many, many times over the years and have never had a bad experience with a server there until recently. My daughter and I went for brunch and were seated immediately. Our server, Lisa C came and took our drink order and asked if we were ready, I was about to ask a question about the special when she cut me off, and said, “So do you know what you want”. I started to speak when she cut me off again and said, “so are you ready or not”. I said no, I guess not. She rolled her eyes and stormed off. I’m thinking maybe we interrupted her cigarette break since she smelled like an ashtray, which was offensive. When she came back to take our order, the odor was much stronger. She stood with her back towards me and only spoke to my daughter. Obviously, I’m paying because my daughter is a teenager. It was extremely bizarre. Our food sat in the window for at least five minutes, even though the cook rang the bell and made direct eye contact with her. She stood there talking with the other servers as our food sat in the window for five minutes. I almost got up and grabbed it myself since we were sitting right by the counter. She never offered us refills, so I asked if she could refill my daughter’s water. She turned to my daughter and rolled her eyes and went and grabbed the water pitcher. I would’ve loved another mimosa and I’m sure that the restaurant would’ve loved the revenue from another mimosa. Lisa was very unprofessional and gross. The food was delicious as always. But we will not be returning for fear of having Lisa wait on us again, which is a shame because it’s our favorite breakfast place:(
