I had a wonderful dining experience. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our waitress Priscilla was exceptionally kind and attentive, providing outstanding service throughout the evening. I truly appreciated her professionalism and would gladly return in the future.

Danya our server was the star of the show. She was prompt, friendly, patient. All around just a great aura and someone you want to take care of you while you dine with family. The fish & chips are STELLAR. The wings with garlic chili sauce were 10/10. Beautiful view on the water. Try to get here during sunset. All around just a lovely experience for the 2nd year in a row. They also have incredible seating, in the sense that there is a space for everyone. Inside bar seating, outside bar seating, inside dining, outside dining. Come here. You will not be disappointed!

Unfortunately, our experience at this place was very disappointing. I went with my husband hoping to enjoy a nice meal and the lake view. We were seated at a table, which we initially accepted, but we noticed several empty tables with a much better view. We kindly asked the waitress if we could move.
She checked with the manager, but the answer was a rude and firm “no.” They said the tables were assigned to specific waitstaff and that it wouldn’t be fair to switch. Honestly, this made no sense to us — we weren’t asking to change servers, just to move to a different table.
After that, the waitress’s attitude changed completely. She seemed upset and spoke to us with a noticeably negative tone, which made the people around us stare and made us feel really uncomfortable. At that point, we didn’t even feel like eating anymore.
It’s a shame that a place with such a great location doesn’t prioritize customer service. We weren’t asking for anything special — just a simple request to enhance our experience. We won’t be returning and cannot recommend this place.

Birria burger was pretty good but chips were from a bag, literally. My friend’s salmon dinner looked really good, and from the sight of her cleaned plate, it must have been good. The ricotta dip tasted as good as it sounded when reading it off of the menu! The sunset over the lake was beautiful. Overall, a pretty neat place with great views and good food. Fresh cut fries or house made chips would have secured a 5-star rating from me.

Updated June 03, 2025, Our first impression was based on Sunday evening experience as a neighbor. But since then we decided to give them a try and were pleasantly impressed.
We were trying to rest at a quiet lakeside resort during a slow time Sunday night the week after Memorial Day. Then this band cranked it up so loud that it woke us up in our hotel room. Over 500 feet away measuring 85db, it was clearly above the safe listing level for anyone there, according to OSHA & NIOSH safe sound levels for humans. That killed the idea of us going there to try out their dinners that Sunday. If we can’t hear the servers or each other’s conversation, what’s the point of going there for a romantic relaxing evening. Bad business decision hiring an arrogant band.
But, after a explanatory response from the owner that there is no music Monday evenings, we decided to give them a try. We are pleasantly impressed at their fare. Plenty of parking for this large venue. Are server was mildly attentive but needed to pay more attention to our requests. As stated in other reviews, this is the upscale restaurant of the area. Lovely table settings of real flowers. Excellent preparation and presentation of food. Very creative and delicious menu. I would come back to impress my guests, just not on a night with a band, unless I wanted to only hear a band and not my guest. We’ll return next year for sure.

I had a good time here . I usually am not too excited to go out because not many places offer vegan friendly dishes besides French fries .
This place had an excellent rice bowl with squash and spinach.
They also have a beyond burger option.
A few salads can be made vegan with the omission of cow milk cheese

The food here was amazing! It was so flavorful and plated well. The servers are friendly. It was a little busy but our food did not take very long. The outdoor tables are a little too close together. Overall, it’s a nice place to get good food. We will definitely be back.

My original review was about a month ago. We returned recently to find that they completely changed the menu. All the food we previously tried and loved was no longer on the menu. We previously had a hard time deciding because so many things sounded so good. This time, it was hard to find something that sounded appetizing. We were not impressed with what we did order, so I needed to update my review to change the food rating from a 5 to a 3. That 3 is being generous. I tried one of their new cocktails, and it was awful. It’s so disappointing because I could see this being one of our favorite places to eat prior to the menu change.

You Need To Know? We were looking for a spot near the water with good food & entertainment. Nick’s Lake House did not disappoint. Arrived around 6:00 p.m. on a Friday night & had a 15 minute wait. Our group of 4 ordered the Reubens Ribs, the Southwest protein bowl with shrimp, a birria burger smash burger & a bacon jam cheddar smash burger. All of the meals were flavorful & large portion sizes. The meat sweats were happening after this feast…lol. Nick’s Lake house Restaurant is a must try for not only the lake people but anyone that is within close proximity. After our meal indoors, we walked outside & realized they had a live band playing on the outdoor patio which sits right on beautiful Lake Harmony. Go here & enjoy yourselves, well worth the visit! About a year ago we had a negative breakfast experience with a review. Nick’s made it right with a gift card of our breakfast bill. We were in Lake Harmony for the weekend and went to Nick’s for lunch. It was a great experience. The food and service at the bar was great. As always the staff were friendly and fun. We look forward to lunch or dinner the next time we stay in the area.
