Hilton Head’s home for Cajun Seafood. A locally owned and family operated restaurant where you order at the counter and the food is brought to you. Very casual. We do not accept reservations. Have recently relocated across the bridge to Bridge Center Shopping Center across from Moss Creek. We are no longer at Pope Ave location.
New Orleans-style cooking is the focus of this festively decorated, casual Creole restaurant.

Stopped in for breakfast early on the weekend. Tried the Beignets and the Corned Beef Hash – both were excellent. You place your order at the counter here and they bring your food to the table of your choice. Staff was very friendly. We would eat here again if in the area!

Delicious New Orleans flavors at a great price! The portions were generous—easily family-sized. We especially loved the crispy French beignets dusted with powdered sugar. The atmosphere is lively and colorful, filled with fun nods to New Orleans culture. Ordering was a little confusing at first, but we quickly realized you place your order at the counter when you walk in and then choose your own seat.

My husband is an Alabama fan and we went here the day after the game, not knowing the decor. It was so French quarter. The menu had a lot of gator items listed (I’m too scared to try that stuff) they had a Dawg house for kids. Great atmosphere and food was delicious

Spent the Labor Day weekend in Hilton Head SC and went back to a spot we liked before Kenny Bs. They moved location from our last visit and I must say the atmosphere leaves something to be desired. The old spot had a lot of New Orleans and Mardi Gras themed decor. The new location is just Ga and Sc football. There was no music for ambiance just silence. The food was good I had the shrimp boat and the wife had the crayfish parade. They had forgotten her fried crayfish until the end of the meal and I had to go request it. They did comp us an order of the bananas foster bread pudding that was very good. I liked the old location… the vibe and service seemed better.

Absolutely, hands down wonderful food! Love going here for breakfast the most. The food is great and there are a lot of options to choose from. The staff are great, polite, and offer impeccable service. Highly recommend going here and definitely get the beignets! Lunch offers a large variety to choose from and made to order items. Order and pay at the counter when you arrive, then your food will be delivered to your table for you.

As a native of Southern Louisiana, who comes from a Cajun family, I had high hopes when I found this place thru a Google search. Unfortunately the food was mediocre. I had the Boudin Balls, which is suppose to be a ball of rice and sausage. It was more of a paste with very little rice. The flavor was ok. The remoulade sauce was PERFECT with a good dpicy kick. I also had the Voodo pasta with a mix of crawfish, shrimp, and scallops in a cream sauce. It is not crawfish season, so I’m guessing they come frozen, which is fine but there are ways to remove the sea flavor thru seasoning, butter, and lemon when cooking all the shell fish components. The cream sauce had a flavor, which felt and tasted like Filé was added. Normally Filé is added to gumbo to thicken it up, but is not a great way to thicken up a cream sauce. Cajun cuisine is known for its heavy, rich flavors, that puts you in a food coma. We like LOTS of butter, and the cream sauce could have used more along with more cream base.
Also, if the restaurant is a Cajun restaurant PLEASE use seasoning…. Salt, Pepper, Cayenne, Garlic, Paprika, Onions, green onions.. and whatever else you can add to the pot.
The staff was great, friendly, and the food came out pretty quick.
I just expect more from a restaurant that says Cajun in its name.

June, 2025 Update:
Food: 5 Star down to 3 Star
Service: 5 Star down to 1 Star
Atmosphere: Still 5 Star
Again, very easy to order. I specified that I wanted to enjoy the appetizers prior to the entrees being served. Two entrees came out first, then the Boudin Balls appetizer, then the Baked Cajun Garlic Mussels appetizer. Thirty seconds later the other two entrees were served. Boudin Balls went from 6 balls to 4 balls. The rémoulade sauce was sweet instead of spicy. The mussels were a good size and average taste. Both the fried Scallops and Fried Shrimp were cooked perfectly. However, they ran out of baked potatoes. The Jambalaya had overcooked rice. The French Bread was the best part of the meal. This visit we tried the Beignets – a disappointment. The girl looked perplexed when she delivered our Beignets – There was one room on the table. We had four entree plates, four appetizer plates and a mussels bucket that filled our table. I lifted up my entree plate so she could put down the Beignets.
March, 2024 >>>WOW!!! What an excellent meal. You order at the counter and they bring your meal to your table. You know the sign of a great Cajun restaurant is when they have Boudin Balls on the menu. The Boudin did not disappoint, and the Remoulade was excellent. We also had to try the Abita Hush puppies – another great appetizer. I got the Jambalaya. It was a nice portion and perfectly seasoned. I enjoyed mine so much that I forgot what my wife ordered. She did say that her meal tasted great – it might have been the Voodoo Pasta? Unfortunately, we did not have any room left to try the Beignets. My directions were a little bit funky, but I’m glad I persevered. Great prices!

I was genuinely excited to try the Voodoo Pasta at Kenny B’s. I spoke with locals and friends who have traveled to Hilton Head and they all told me I had to try this. Expecting a dish packed with bold flavors and a little kick. Unfortunately, it ended up being one of the more disappointing dishes I’ve had in a while.
The dish lacked the signature depth and spice you’d expect from Cajun cuisine. The sauce was creamy but bland — more like a generic Alfredo than anything with true “voodoo” flair. Any promised heat was barely noticeable, and the seasoning was surprisingly flat for a dish that should’ve delivered complexity and boldness. The sausage had the consistency of ground beef, it was very “off.” To my surprise, the scallops were nicely cooked and most of the pasta was overcooked.
Onto the Taste of the Bayou. Jumbalaya was a little heavy on the tomato.
Shrimp Etoufee was the star of the night. Lightly seasoned but flavorful overall. The cornbread was so tender it fell apart, which made buttering difficult, but was delicious.
Service was friendly, and the vibe of the restaurant was fun, but if this dish is supposed to be a house favorite, I’m not sure I’d come back to explore the rest of the menu.
Final Verdict: 2.7/10. 2 dishes with EXTRAORDINARY potential, held back by under-seasoning, poor execution, and a serious lack of Cajun character and authenticity.

I recently tried Kenny’s B’s for the second time accompanied by my mom and the experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The fried shrimp & oysters was the highlight of the meal — crispy, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. Unfortunately, the rest of the dishes fell short. The jambalaya lacked flavor and depth, tasting more like plain rice with a few add-ins rather than the bold, seasoned dish it should be. The beignets were especially disappointing — instead of being light, fluffy, and slightly sweet, they came out tasting like plain fried bread cooked in old grease, leaving a heavy aftertaste.
Overall, Kenny’s BS has potential, because I came here a year ago with an old friend and the food was the complete opposite. Flavorful and fresh.

I took my son here for lunch. The food was very delicious. The portions were pretty big. The service was top-notch. I didn’t realize it was an order at the counter place. That was the only drawback.
