As always, we gladly drive across town just to eat at Kabuto’s it’s hands-down the best hibachi around! The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the experience is always top-notch.
Today, our server was Carli, and she was absolutely fantastic. She struck the perfect balance very attentive without being overbearing. Her friendly, welcoming attitude made our visit even more enjoyable.
Great food, great atmosphere, and exceptional service. Highly recommend! We have plenty of leftovers!

I joined the Goodlettsville Chamber for Kabuto’s ribbon cutting and then stayed for lunch. I had a chance to talk with Tina (GM) and RJ (owner).
They recently purchased the building, which had been sitting vacant for a while, and invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in renovations.
The difference shows-the place is very clean, welcoming, and well taken care of. We sat at a hibachi table for lunch, and everything was fantastic.
The lunch $5 sushi was super fresh and delicious, and the hibachi chicken with rice and vegetables came in a huge portion-an excellent value for the price.
Tina personally helped at our table and was wonderful. Their lunch pricing is honestly the deal of the century considering the freshness, quality, and generous portions. Highly recommend for lunch and I’ll definitely be back for dinner!

Came to eat a late lunch here while in town for our friends birthday. From the moment we walked in, the energy was top notch! Our server Tina and chef Harvin were amazing and tentative. Our appetizers were delicious and the soup and salad were a great start to the meal. We got some drinks and the alcohol was not sparing. The main course was cooked to perfection- steak perfectly seasoned and tender, the veggies were delish! They included potatoes with the veggies which was something new but I enjoyed very much. We were absolutely stuffed by the end of the meal with plenty of left over to go. Their dinner for 2 was very reasonably priced at what most would find a single entree at other similar dining experiences. Will return the next time we’re in the area! The birthday celebration at the end of the meal was an absolute show stopper. We could have sworn we were in the movie Drum Line starring Nick Cannon. 10/10 experience all around.

This was our first time coming and we will definitely be back. Amber was awesome. Ask for her when you come service was great. Food was even better. we tried the upside down sushi, the crystal shrimp and the hibachi combo, shrimp and steak, scallops and shrimp. All was awesome.

We went here after our children’s Jui Jitsu class and we come here about every month or so….and we love it! Always such a warm welcome by their hostess Julissa and she is such an ambassador of this place. She is always welcoming and my daughter loves her! The manager Tina is absolutely lovely and is such an example of hospitable leadership and an incredible asset to this restaurant!
Now the food..wow…incredible flavors, the taste profile was on point and the show at the table from chef Harvin was phenomenal! My son wouldn’t sit in his chair and was just standing at the table in full focus of Chef’s demonstration and full engagement…lots of laughs and always a great time!
Can’t wait to get back there again for another wonderful time and experience. This place makes you fell like family when you are there and the food…incredible and plenty to take home!!!
