Wife and I had a delicious dinner here. Large perfectly cooked salmon portion with two flavorful sides. Loved the food , extremely friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere. We will back several times a month for sure. We will save room for their decadent desserts next time.

Meatloaf was awesome…and HUGE! Lots of choices on the menu. Everything looked delicious. Highly recommend giving them a try. Great variety of food and drink choices. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely amazing experience. Upon entering the establishment we were greeted by a woman who was leaving and asked us if it was our first time, which we replied yes. She then guided us to the food area and kind of gave us the rundown of how it goes.
The staff behind the counter were extremely helpful and friendly. Everybody in the place had Good Vibes and all of the employees were extremely courteous. I don’t encounter a customer service like this often. The food was next level. This is my official new favorite spot in Goodlettsville.

We have been visiting this restaurant weekly over the last 15+ years. They use good ingredients, friendly open seating and a great store. Such a wide variety of vegetables. Mexican Coke , And it’s hard not to walk out with a piece of the homemade cake. The German chocolate is our favorite. My daughter likes the cold broccoli salad. They have a whole cold deli type bar and a hot bar with different specials every day. The Jerusalem chicken is amazing and so is the meatloaf. Another favorite is the salmon croquettes. I’m sure vegans would love this place.

There are so many great food options at Chefs Market that it took me a while to find one that was really popular. Even though you’re probably picky there are plenty of good food options that are considered a must-have. I would recommend having banana pudding, which is a great dessert that has actual white chocolate chips in it. All in all, Chefs Market is a great place on my travels before or after Nashville!

There was just so much food. So much. This is one of those places where you need to wear sweatpants and maybe consider being wheeled out. All kidding aside, we went with another couple and we ended up sampling each others plates and it was all very good. There is a ton to choose from, so if you’re picky, there will be something there for you! The icing on the cake is literally the last thing you see walking out the door. Very nice selection of deserts that we ended up buying too much of. All in all, great stop on our travels.

I hired Chefs Market to cater for my boyfriend’s birthday. When I first got the quote, I cringed a little, but wanted the very best, so I went with it! Let me tell you that EVERY step of the way this was the most seamless and incredible process I have ever experienced. From the planning with Emalee to the Server Team that spent the day with us…it was TOP NOTCH!
I seriously can’t get over the culmination of our plans to the roll out of the event. Theresa, Elizabeth, Erin and Rachel were THE MOST professional, attentive and amazing catering team I have EVER witnessed. They helped make this event even more special than I imagined. The food was absolutely DIVINE; icing on the proverbial cake!
If you are considering Chefs Market for catering…DO IT! And ask for my team…you’ll be lucky if you get them.

I got the hot chicken salad with vegetable casserole and dressing. Sides were great. The chicken in the hot chicken salad was so dry and hard. – would come back but definitely try something different next time.

We stayed at the Residence Inn in Goodlettsville, Tennessee and the front desk people highly recommended the Chef’s Market Cafe & Takeaway. So we went as it was less than a half a mile from the hotel. It is a cute market & cafe with a place to sit down and eat. The place was pretty full.; however, we were able to find a seat easily. They even have a little shop of cute purses, jewelry, books, and knick knacks.
There were so many entrees and sides to choose from. It was hard to decide. I had salmon at the recommendation of someone in line. I selected broccoli salad and fresh fruit. My husband selected chicken thighs, broccoli salad and sweet potato casserole. We each had a beverage, too. The food was delicious! The portions were generous. The people serving the food were very helpful. They told us what they liked and whether it was spicy or not. They were very personable and engaged in conversation. They made us feel welcome,
Our bill was $48 which was a little more than we expected.
Since we had not been there before, my husband asked the person in the beverage area about how things worked at the cafe. He was very helpful!
There was a customer next me who was telling me what she loves to get – the salmon was her favorite entree. As we were standing there talking with the customer, a worker accidentally spilled the ice tea container all over himself, the floor, the area around the beverage station and on my husband’s jacket, jeans, and shoes. We are traveling so it was a good thing he had another pair of jeans in the car so he could change. Accidents happen. However, we would have thought that someone would have checked on the three of us who were standing in the vicinity of the beverage spill.
The employee was very professional by not yelling. He just turned around and went to get towels and a mop. Another worker came to help clean up the mess.
When we went to check out, the two cashiers were just talking with each other. We were not greeted or asked how the meal was. My husband told them what happened, they said sorry and went right back to talking with each other.
If we are in the area again, we would definitely try the Chef’s Market again.

I wanted to write this review out of my true, genuine appreciation for Chef’s Market. I was set to work with this company for the catering of my wedding that I sadly had to cancel. Maddie, the Sales Manager, has reached out several times to alert me of a credit I can use for another event. No other vendor I’d chosen for my wedding handled the cancellation of my event with such grace and kindness. I am so appreciative of their honestly (and their food is absolutely fabulous)! You can trust Chef’s Market to treat your event with care and integrity.
