Grilled octopus is amazing,
onion rings is amazing,
and the i-forgot-the-name mussel shrimp tomato pasta is super super good.
After visited Halibut Point State Park and amazed to see the narrow neighborhood to drive through Gloucester, we were very hungry and excited to drink beers. But unfortunately, they don’t have a license to serve any alcohol. I understand and I’m fine with that. We got a good and friendly server. I didn’t catch her name. Dark long haired woman server.
We got in and there’s a plenty of people inside to eat their food. The noise was loud but we can talk in a loud voice together. It was about to go getting busy around the dinner time.
The food was worth it! I got my Chicken Gorgonzola. It’s freaking fantastic and delicious! Even the gentleman sit across from us who was curious and asked about my food. It’s a real Italian food! Great place to eat!
Food was still hot, fries were nice and crunchy but shrimps kinda tasted tasteless and were like a ‘gum’.
Tartar sauce was amazing.
The restaurant is on the small size and is known for its LARGE portions. We found this to be TRUE. I ordered the grilled lemon pepper salmon with broccoli and asparagus. I’ve never been given such a HUGE piece of salmon. It was tasty but a bit on the oily side.
It was VERY loud but the staff were always attentive. I would not say this is a good place for a date.
They do have takeout and sitting at the bar area in front of the kitchen have us a really look on how they operate. Everyone is always moving at moderate to high speed.
Overall, it was a good place to get a huge portion of food, but I probably wouldn’t dine-in again because it was too loud and it was difficult to hear what my partner was saying. There is the option for take out, to consider.

The atmosphere here is so warm and welcoming — it truly feels like a family reunion.
The portions are huge! If you’re a big eater, go for it solo, but otherwise it’s perfect to share.
We tried the linguine with clam sauce, both red and white, and they were excellent. Plenty of clams! The white sauce had a noticeable lemony tang, which made it bright and refreshing.
The calamari was great too — crispy, with small, tender squid pieces that still had the skin on.
Would definitely come back again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for hearty portions and a cozy, homey vibe!
