Their staff are always very friendly and polite, which I greatly appreciate. I don’t often stop in because they’re always slammed (popularity does that). Every time I do stop in, the service is great – and that is unexpected in today’s fast food market.
However between October and December 2025, I had roughly three meals per month placing a total of 9 orders, 4 delivery, 2 order-ahead and 3 in-person. I alway ordered the nugget meal (lowest price was $15 and highest at $19). Food was consistently excellent in October (5/5) ordered in person but by my last delivery on 12/8/25, the nuggets and french fries had declined in quality (2/5). The Sprite was always fresh, cold and clean. I never got a wrong order at all. Delivery usually takes 30–40 minutes and while the food generally arrives warm it’s not as consistent or great as in-person orders. Nuggets were sometimes soggy & fries were dry for delivery and portion sizes are generally good but I noticed smaller nuggets orders (4 pieces) are tastier than the 12-piece orders which can have smaller and dry pieces.
I can’t really speak to noise levels or dining room comfort since I mostly do take-out or delivery. The staff outside taking orders are consistently polite and efficient but when the restaurant is crowded I often leave if the line circles the building or if it’s been more than 6 minutes without placing my order. When it’s not crowded I usually get my meal in under 10 minutes which is fast for this location. Also the window staff struggle to pass orders and look overwhelmed which makes sense because the space is tight and the kitchen makes orders as quickly as possible rather than in the order they’re placed so simpler orders are often made first and they sit ready at the window.
I’ve had friend and coworker note the dining experience is much better which suggests my issues are specific to peak hours since I often order around 4 and 5pm.
The grilled chicken was cold and had an unpleasant oily taste. As for the spicy chicken sandwich, it was overcooked with way too much breading, making it overly crispy and greasy. The oil tasted old, which affected the overall flavor.
The waffle fries were also disappointing. They were stuck together like they hadn’t been properly separated during cooking, and they tasted overly oily as well.
I paid $24.85 for two meals, and honestly, the quality has declined compared to how good it used to be. I understand that they were busy, but that shouldn’t justify such a noticeable drop in food quality. Hopefully, management can address this and improve the consistency of their food. Gave two stars vs one due to a great Customer service. I like their team.
If you are within 20mins of breakfast ending you won’t get your food if you are in the drive thru because they are incredibly slow at ordering taking.
Wasted 20mins to try and get breakfast and left with nothing.
This is the worst location in Columbus for normal chick-fil-a service.
