A nice seafood restaurant that also has an on-site frozen seafood market. It’s a great concept—you can enjoy a fresh, well-prepared meal and then purchase quality seafood to cook at home. A convenient spot for both dining and shopping.

We had been on trails in the area all morning and realized it was late afternoon & we hadn’t eaten. As we were driving we saw the billboard for this place & decided to do the order ahead.

We both got the mix & match as well as an additional order to share, if needed, because we were so hungry. We only needed our own mix & match (saved the other for a late night snack), which we ate at one of their picnic tables.

The server was friendly when we went to pick up the food & a few people were inside eating. After being outside all morning and afternoon, it seemed fitting to enjoy our food in the trees at the picnic tables. The temperature was perfect. It wasn’t buggy at all. It was the perfect late lunch, food and atmosphere combined. We’ll definitely stop there again if we are passing through.

If ordering to go, they give you all the sauces you need as well as napkins and plastic silverware. If eating outside, there are plenty trash cans to get rid of your trash when you are done eating.

So, I was driving on my way to a family reunion in Ocean City, Maryland. We saw this place and decided to give it a try. It’s a great low key seafood find. Nothing fancy here. Just a lot of atmosphere and amazing cooking. Service was good. The gumbo and she crab soup was heavenly. The right spices and Cajun flavor in the gumbo. The she crab soup was rich and decadent. We had fried oysters and an oyster poor boy sandwich. Wow, I never have had such sweet oysters. If I lived locally I would be going to this place every week. Please if you are in the area you got to check this place out. Well worth stopping at this seafood shack. On a side note, I think the owners are retiring and looking for someone to take over the place.

My Mom and I stopped in to eat here on our trip to Cape Charles and we are so glad we did. Chrissy our waitress was Outstanding. She was not only warm and welcoming but went above and beyond to ensure we not only had a delicious dinner, but that our leftovers were packaged up perfectly. The food was absolutely delicious. I loved my grilled salmon with steamed vegetables and I can’t say enough good things about how delicious the hush puppies were along with my mom’s softshell crabs. The key lime pie was so delicious too!! We will definitely return if we are ever in the area again. I highly recommend eating here. You will not be disappointed.

The server David was really awesome, he took a lot of time to answer questions about the menu and was very friendly in general. The food… well it was so-so and a bit too pricy.
The steamed clams were small, but tasty the Angus burger was a little underwhelming and the fries were limp… The soft shell crabs were okay but again a little overpriced.
I’m sure other things on the menu are really good, we just didn’t get the right things. I will give it one more try, If for no other reason then I really liked the service

This is a wonderful place and unpretentious. They have a lot of yummy frozen seafood and they have soup to go cookbooks and history books on the Eastern shore. The crabcakes were incredible and we really enjoyed the soups we had we love the soup so much we took some to go, the hush puppies were yummy and if it’s a nice day, they have outside seating as well. You can also get a nice bottle of wine to go with your seafood. Oh I forgot about the fried oysters. Yum.

Charming and spacious. One can find a whole variety of food at budget friendly prices to a delicious splurge. I would definitely eat here again when passing through or staying nearby. The staff is friendly and patient. I had a few questions because I have to eat #dairyfree.

I tried the hush puppies (yummy) and a fried oyster (salty & chewy but tasty with the cocktail sauce) – 1st time ever trying both.

I found out from the down to earth manager, Linda, that they have monthly music usually on the 1st Weds of the month (unless a holiday) and every Saturday night.

Thanks for being open on new years day. I had a long trip home from visiting relatives in Onanock and it was a treat to find a fun place open. My seafood combo was wonderful. I treated myself to a fried combo and everything was fresh and crispy. Awesome hush puppies.
I had been looking for a good eastern shore T-shirt , I found a cute one at your store that fit my requirements, ok for plus size, blue tie dye, cute design and long sleeve.
** I was tempted by your mild seafood spice since I have trouble handling spice but I had already got my Tshirt. It was nice to sample on the table.
Thanks again for a nice break from the road.

Unfortunately they have been in a downward death spiral since COVID. Let’s start off by saying their food was never spectacular…. but… before COVID… it was a restaurant that (since we live in a very rural area) would be considered from time-to-time. It was kinda like a “It’s better to eat there than not to eat anything at all” kinda deal. Back in the day… the food was only slightly above average. It was edible… but nothing to write home about. I would imagine this restaurant (along with 95% of the other restaurateurs out there) believes that most restaurants in general don’t need to do anything special in life to get ahead… I guess they’ve just given up. It’s happening more and more every day. GEEEEZ !!!Sad……..
