Quite a unique donut experience. If you’re visiting Portland or Eugene you’ve got to check out Voodoo Donuts. It’s expensive but delicious. They have their traditional donuts as well as seasonal AND donuts based on current events. For example they had a Purple Rain When “Prince” passed away

Picked up a dozen. Donuts so fresh. On the sweeter side…but that’s often the appeal of donuts. Basil demonstrated amazing customer service to all the patrons who came in…

Trying voodoo donuts has been on my list for a while! I loved the churro doughnut! Also got a banana fritter with chocolate and peanut butter drizzle, and chocolate chips and chopped nuts on top. It was huge and very tasty. My only complaint was the guy working behind the counter. He couldn’t have hated his job more if he tried.

Unique donut shop in downtown Eugene. Glad I was finally able to experience Voodoo Doughnuts. The dirt donut was amazing. Cashier was friendly. Nice art work down the street.

We popped by this place during a long roadtrip. The woman at the counter helped my daughter choose doughnuts that would be easy to eat after being recently discharged from the hospital. She was incredibly warm and unexpectedly generous. The doughnuts were amazing! Soft, fresh and delicious. Thank you Voodoo Doughnuts!!

Fresh, delicious, creative donuts and excellent coffee, served in a fun, colorful space. You can’t go wrong with any of their choices. Very indulgent, but just the thing for a rainy morning drive. Bring it along on your book tour.

The Churro: Voodoo Doughnut has been on my list of gourmet doughnut shops to visit for years. I believe it now qualifies as a chain, but the original location was founded by Portlanders Kenneth “Cat Daddy” Pogson and Tres Shannon in 2003. I wanted to try more doughnuts than I had room in my stomach for, so I prioritized my selection based on what I thought was most exclusive to Voodoo Doughnut and my tastes. The Churro is an old-fashioned doughnut, which is a subset of cake doughnuts that have a cracked surface and are moister as they are fried at a lower temperature. They are sometimes referred to as buttermilk doughnuts or fry cakes. Voodoo has their version dusted in cinnamon sugar and drizzled with vanilla and caramel. It was plenty sweet thanks to the drizzles and cinnamon sugar. Cinnamon was the dominant flavor, and I had a hard time detecting the vanilla and caramel as they both just came through as a generic sweetness. Texturally it seemed a little dry and was crumbly. Definitely not a bad doughnut, but somewhat underwhelming as it’s from a gourmet doughnut shop. Just okay This was a 3 star doughnut but 4 stars overall since the atmosphere was cool and the Banana Cream was a 5 star doughnut.

Oh so good! I saw a tray of freshly made Portland Cream Donuts get placed on the rack and I had to order a few. I don’t think there is a donut better than a freshly baked Portland Cream. Warm, fluffy, delicate, and CREAMY!!!! It is why I will never be skinny. Thank you Voodoo!

Everything was a feast for the eyes as well as the soul and stomach! I highly recommend it to anyone who’s around! Every donut I ordered was perfection and well worth the price. Because of my own personal choices I spent $50 on a dozen but well worth it! I picked all specialty donuts instead of the specialty bundle they offer….
