We ordered a meal for one, starting with the Veggie Gyoza (vegetable dumplings)—fresh, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. The garlic fries were another standout, flavorful without being overpowering.
The star of the meal was the spicy garlic veggie ramen bowl. The portion is huge and incredibly filling, with a rich, flavorful broth and well-balanced toppings.
We also tried Ramune, the Japanese soda—fun to open and lightly sweet with a subtle coconut-like finish.
Big shoutout to the staff—everyone was kind, attentive, and welcoming despite how busy it gets.
All of this for under $30 per person, which makes it a total win. Highly recommend.
I ordered the Spicy Garlic Ramen and the kids got the Original. The spice level was perfect, and the broth was absolutely amazing. The pork was thick, clean-tasting, and had no smell—my kids loved it! The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the egg was absolutely flawless too.
There was a Korean server who helped us, and thanks to her kindness and great service, I think we’ll become regulars here. She guided us toward more reasonable menu choices and handled everything with such care and thoughtfulness.
The food was so delicious that we ordered one more to-go for my husband, and he said it was amazing too
I’m so happy to have found a ramen place with great food and great service.
We’ll definitely be back soon!!!
i wanted to make a review specifically because of one of the waiters. Murali (forgive us if we misspelled) places attentions on presentation as well as quantity of the food served. sitting at the table in front of the chefs, we saw that Murali would send back food if the chefs did not put enough edamame and asked that they make another batch with the right quantity. i feel like attention to little details like this makes me, a customer, assured that the food served is served as best as possible with the customer’s satisfaction in mind.
the only thing i have to say is that the thin noodles here are not as thin as the ones i’ve eaten before. they are also slightly al dente, which i personally like, but others might not like. as well, i wish the other waiters/waitresses were more welcoming, but nothing negative to say overall.
my partner and i typically get ramen in downtown vancouver, but we’re definitely going to come here in the future instead !
To be honest, I am not a big fan of Ramen until I randomly came here for food on my way home, a year ago. Since then I have been coming by here regularly.
The soup base is delcious and I always ask for double the garlic. They offer thick or thin noodles – I prefer thin noodles. They also have combos that includes spritz cocktails.
Until I went to Kinton Ramen. The second I slurped some noodles, I started floating. The acne on my face, back, and left cheek (not face) lit up and disintegrated. My neck beard vanished in front of me. Suddenly, I had the attention of every single woman in the city of Surrey. This was all thanks to the Pork Original Ramen.
