My wife, son and I had lunch at the Asian Buffet. The restaurant was very clean and the employees were very friendly and welcoming. The food was fresh and I really enjoyed the Hibachi option. I put some ingredients on a plate and the cook did a great job cooking the ingredients on my plate. We asked for our bill only to find that a local regular was kind enough to pay for our lunch. So thank you to the kind person that paid for our lunch. If you want a good dining experience at a reasonable price, try this restaurant out. I will definitely come back and dine at the Asian buffet next time we are in town.

Parking was convenient, with plenty of available spaces. The restaurant itself is spacious, modern, and mostly clean, although two out of the three bathroom stalls weren’t up to standard. I noticed a few fruit flies around the fresh fruit, which was a bit off-putting. On the upside, the service was excellent. We were seated promptly, our drinks were consistently refilled, and the staff quickly cleared our plates. One highlight was the hibachi station, where you can create your own stir-fry with a variety of sauces and ingredients—delicious! I also enjoyed the baked cheese mussels, though the peanut butter sauce on the katsu felt out of place. One thing to note, they only offer Pepsi products. Overall, it’s a solid spot to satisfy your Asian food cravings. It was $45 plus tip for two people during dinner.

Only getting 4 stars, the last time I came in the sushi was warm. I shouldn’t have to tell you this, but raw food does not get left out until someone eats them. I felt sick afterwards and it’s happened before with my brother too. Some of you know who I am because I regularly come. Please fix this issue and you’ll get my 5 stars.

Sushi was varied and delicious, just what I had been craving. The calamari was not hot but still tasty, better if hot. Fruits were a great dessert and the tea was hot and just what I needed.

The food was dry. We were there during dinner hours so I was expecting it to be fresh. But the chicken was dry and although the sauce seams fresh, it was like they had used frozen chicken that was not very fresh.

Great selection as well as variety of food. My favorite is the peanut butter chicken. They also do a great job on their hibachi grill for no additional charge (don’t forget to tip). My wife and I just watched a large group of high schoolers swarm in during lunch today (30-40)and the staff handled them with out missing a beat! They were able to serve the large crowd efficiently and the food bar never ran short. We were impressed! They also have a wonderful sushi bar and plenty of desserts available.

I checked the reviews of this restaurant before my wife and I went. I don’t go to Chinese buffets very often, but the comments seemed pretty positive, so we decided to try it.

We pulled into what I would describe as a giant strip mall. Most of the area seemed deserted. The GPS announced we had arrived, but I couldn’t see it. My wife saw it first, its sign hidden by the Big Lots store that sits right next to it.

The interior looks clean and nice. I would guess it’s a fairly new restaurant or at least recently remodeled. The tables were spaced out so you can easily walk around the seating area to get to the buffet.

They offered several islands with hot foods, a Hibachi grill, a small sushi bar, a salad bar, and some fruit and dessert, including prepackaged ice cream.

Based on the number of cars in the parking lot, I thought the place would be busier. They had plenty of empty tables, so the hostess sat us immediately.

The servers were friendly and prompt. They cleaned up plates as soon as we set them aside and brought water before we emptied our glasses.

As for the food, it was the normal fare. Everything tasted good, but for the price I guess I was expecting a bit more. The sushi, something I was excited to try, was OK. And that’s how most of the food was – just OK. I will say the egg drop soup was fantastic!

Their website lists the buffet as $17.99, so that’s why I was expecting something more. When we got our bill, it was actually $18.29. Had I not looked at the website beforehand, I think I would have been shocked when I received the final check.

The parking lot has plenty of spaces.

I doubt I’d return if we were back in the area. I’m glad I tried it so I know what they offered. If you’re really hungry for Chinese and like the standard fare, you’ll most likely enjoy this restaurant.

Many options on the buffet. Seem to have something for everyone. The dishes I tried were flavorful, (and I did try many!). Staff attentive, always cleaning used plates, offering refills, and asking if you need anything.

I would go back, the food selection was incredible for the price.

I love Chinese food. For the past two decades, I have had thousands of Chinese buffet. This one is not the worst one I have had. But rating has no sense without considering the price. This may be an ok buffet for $7, but for $14+ we expect more (dinner $18+). The food selection is very limited and does not taste good. They do not refill plates quickly so many are left empty for my entire stay. Traverse City is a tourism place so expensive food is expected, but not for low quality of food and service. I am confident to put this place at my bottom 5% of buffet list.
