How some of the people can even stomach writing falsities about this great restaurant is far beyond me. Probably hired to tank the scores in favor of the Izumis, Kobe or Oshos in the immediate area because Neko beats them in every single facet ( admittedly aside from atmosphere in Osho’s.)
Service is never a problem and always attentive. Sushi is always fresh but sometimes warm if a fresh pot of rice is made upon ordering if it’s been a slow day (it’s never really packed… better warm and fresh than old and cold though, right?) but this is easily overlooked due to sheer variety.
The hibachi grill is a fun way of going about a meal, and an AMAZING deal during lunch time pricing ($10 for a fillet Mignon lunch… try to beat that). The only real criticism I have is the lighting in the hibachi section. Pricing is far better for the quality and quantity of food than any of the other Hibachi restaurants in the area and the owner is a really personable guy.
If you’re in the Hudson Valley, this is definitely the place to go.
