Established in 1986, this unassuming pizza parlor offers a game room and regular specials.

Dining in and eating out are two completely different experiences. The last two times we have ordered take out pizza, and when we arrive home and see the pizza in the box, it is aweful. Barely any cheese. We have basically paid for crispy bread/crackers with dried tomato sauce. Dining in, the pizza always looks amazing. The second time for a take out order, my husband drove back to show the pizza to the employees. They said when the pizza is cooking and bubbles up, it causes the toppings to slide off the pizza. They did kindly and apologetically, make us a new pizza. As the pics show, it appears that the two pizzas were made by two different employees. One pizza looks amazing and the other is missing half its cheese. Maybe the weight of additional toppings helps to keep it from bubbling. Note to self, open the pizza boxes and check before leaving the restaurant when ordering take out.

We are visiting from Wisconsin, and we were looking for a local place to get some thin crust pizza Walery’s was beyond our expectation!!
We got a vegetarian pizza and added chicken to it ….very very fresh and delicious and we got a Hawaiian pizza mmm mmm good!!
Just the right balance of cheese sauce, and toppings!
Only one recommendation is with all the fresh ingredients the mushrooms should be fresh too. It would make the fresh taste complete!!

Last year the combo pizza had big beautiful olives, big mushrooms, and order of tomatoes on the side. January 30th, 2026: small mushrooms and olives and tomatoes were placed on the top and the crust didn’t seem the same. I live 9 miles south of Salem on the I-5 corridor. So it’s a trip for me to get what I thought was the best pizza in the state of Oregon. What happened? Why did you change??

I have been going to this place since they opened. And hands down the best pizza i’ve ever had !!
Unfortunately, I moved out of state to arizona a year ago and no longer get to enjoy a wonderful pizza.Nothing here compares
Hopefully you guys expand to Phoenix or the surrounding area. Somewhere someday soon? Great place employees are always great.

If you’re from the area, this place is a classic, in the best, nostalgic way. Thin, cracker-style crust with that perfect snap, a generous blanket of melty mozzarella, and those little pepperonis that curl up into crispy, grease-holding cups when they bake. It’s the kind of pizza you don’t just eat… you happily inhale and immediately start planning your next slice. Its sliced thin, perfect for a group.

First time trying Walery’s. It was a Saturday so lots of birthday parties and family events. The pizza is good. I enjoyed the crust. Nice crispy bottom. Sauce was average. Toppings fresh and generous. They make it easy to split a pizza in halfs to try different toppings. Side salad was not very fresh. Staff was great.

First time here. Pizza is really good but we like this style (thin and crispy). A lot like Pietro’s or Paddington’s but I would say Walery’s is the best of the three. Maybe the sauce is a little sweeter and the crust is a little less dense but still really crispy. The toppings were good and fresh. Also, we love the atmosphere. It’s truly an old school pizza place. We will be back.

Have enjoyed their food many times in the past, my most recent visit however has cost me dearly. Got a pizza for carry out and on my way back to work bit it to a slice of the pepperoni pizza only to hear and feel a crunch. Next thing I know I have a loose tooth and after an emergency visit to the dentist was told it will have to come out. After contacting Walery’s about the situation I was informed by their manager Nate that once a carry out pizza leaves the restaurant they have no liability. One heck of an expensive pizza.

My family and I have been coming to Walery’s Pizza for many years. We’ve had very good service for the most part until recently. We called ahead to order a pizza to be picked up. When I showed up they said that they were just getting started. I wait about 35 mins and checked up on my order. They said my ticket had accidently gotten put in to the done pile and not down the line, so my pizza hadn’t even been started. I Waited another 25 mins and finally got my pizza. The staff were very apologetic and said they would honor a free pizza to me the next time I came in. They wrote my named down in a book. The staff apologized again.
I called again about 2 months later to order my free pizza. Needless to say I am disappointed because they would not honor my free pizza. One staff person told me my name is not on the list. So I spoke with the manager. The manager said I only had 30 days for this to be honored. I did not know this. This rule was not conveyed to me at the time. They would not reconsider and make it right or treat me as a valued customer.
Very disappointed
