Reviews
Wine card is nice, but staff doesn’t know about wine anything, even how to serve it. The bottle we’ve chosen wasn’t chilled, so we changed it and waiter was seeking it in the fridge for a quiet long time like he saw those wines for the first time.
Naan was delicious, but Murgh Makhni was much hotter than expected.
Price is also high for that type of food and experience.
As an Indian trying Indian food in Poland, I would rate the overall experience as 4/5. It was very well presented, but taste wise it was ordinary.
I ordered chicken biryani and a draft beer. Though it looked like a dum biryani in presentation but it was not. I enjoyed the food and beer.
The service and ambience impressed me and I would rate 5/5.
Overall still a good Indian restaurant in Poland. Will certainly come again to try something different.
Totally recommend roganjosh and jiengh nisha prawns. And they serve excellent wines
Huge thanks to the Guru team who helped make the evening so special!
Feedback:
1. The price in current menu and google maps is different.
2. The Naan and Rice compared to number of curries served is less. A free refill of rice should be added as option
That was our second time at this place and both times we loved the food. There are still some things we would like to try, so we will definitely come back. In other Indian restaurants the choice seemed a little smaller in comparison, and I haven’t seen the dosa anywhere else.
If sb likes butter chicken here it’s under the name “Makhni”, and it’s delicious.
I do prefer the vegetable samosa, but the lamb one was also tasty. The mango lassi is one of the best I’ve ever drunk.
If you don’t like spicy food then be careful because even one “red chilli” is already fairly spicy.
There are some outdoor seats, which are great in summer, but the interior of the place is too nice to not sit inside at least once. The tables are separated with a plastic wall (probably they were added during Covid).
If you reserve a table online, remember that even though it tells you that you have 2 hours to eat, they do want to close at 10 p.m., so I think it’s a better idea to come there before 9 p.m. (the first time we didn’t know that and you could feel the staff being slightly annoyed with us. But the second time, they were very friendly and helpful.)
Place is full of warmth , and awesome preparation of food.
Great service and very accommodating staff.
Would highly recommend it.
