Crab cocktail was really good. The steak was of good quality and perfect temperature, but unfortunately over seasoned (too salty) and that’s considering I like my food salty as compared to many people. Onion rings were great, but I was not a big fan of the steak fries.

Went here for date night, same day reservations but outside seating was the onky available option. And for a cool night, it wasn’t bad at all. The patio was very romantic. I dont know who was singing and playing the piano Sunday night, but he was singing the Motown oldies and we enjoyed every song he sang. Food, service, atmosphere, and entertainment A+. My wife had the crab bisque that comes with the create your own seafood platter and even though it was pricey (it only says Market Value), she loved it! I had the chophouse salad and 16 oz NY strip, medium, and the sear on that steak was perfect. We had a couple Old Fashion cocktails, good and strong. My only gripe, mashed potatoes are not on the menu, smh. We will definitely come back here when we visit. Street parking, and for pay parking lot across the street.

The Chophouse delivered an outstanding dining experience. My filet mignon was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and exactly right. The sides were large enough to share, and everything came out fresh and delicious.

The atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, and the staff was attentive, friendly, and made the evening feel special. Overall, Chophouse New Orleans is a top choice for a classic steakhouse experience done right.

Everything was amazing! We loved the crab bisque, lump crab cocktail, NYC strip, Delmonico steak, house salad, lyonnaise, and last but certainly not least, the cheesecake! Everybody was very warm and welcoming, and our server Kaylen was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable of the menu. My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed everything!

Very nice place. We like good steakhouses and this is right up there with Fleming’s, Morton’s etc but not quite as expensive.
Steaks cooked perfectly like a nicer establishment should. The half and half fries/ onion rings were ok for potato house large sliced ones (not a fan on in house cut fries) but the onion rings were probably the LARGEST ones I’ve ever had! Three of them and the two of us didn’t finish all of them.
The bread could have been warmer when served but was good soft bread and nice pat/large slice of butter.

The BEST part of our experience was our server Josheph. He was on top of everything and brought me Coke refills before I ran out (and I almost always run out everywhere).
We had a great conversation and share some same interests.
Great guy and great service!

If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely return and ask for Joseph.

Visited for son’s 21st birthday – 4 in our party. He ordered crab bisque which he said was really good and we got carpaccio for the table. It was really thin sliced and tender. Steaks were excellent – nice char on outside and cooked perfectly. All sides were good (baked potato, caesar salad, and fries. Great cocktails and wine selection. My son finished off with key lime pie which we all shared and it was excellent as well. Attentive service and dishes were served at a good pace – not too fast or slow. Piano player playing Motown tunes was entertaining. A bit loud with music and the crowd but can still talk. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit. A nice place for a special event.

Yesterday we came to celebrate my birthday, it was our first time eating at this restaurant and everything was perfect. Mauricio (I think that’s his name) did an excellent job from beginning to end. The food 10/10, ambiance 10/10, service 10/10.

When I called, they told us all they had for reservations was 8pm or later but I was able to book a 6:15 spot somehow online, luckily. We were promptly sat upon arrival and our waiter didn’t come by for maybe 5 minutes (whatever). I don’t recall his name but he was friendly and welcoming. We didn’t ask for drink/app recommendations but he also didn’t offer any- we had the Dirty Martini (they aren’t kidding about the ‘dirty’ part FYI) and the Indigo Martini, and both were delicious. We also had the baked shrimp which were very good. They came out on a hot plate and, in my opinion, it seemed the shrimp were pre-cooked and then “finished” to order because the shrimp itself wasn’t as hot throughout as the plate was. It wasn’t bad but just an observation.
They don’t have a large menu so we chose what we wanted to eat quickly, and put that order in when our drinks were delivered. I did ask for entree recommendations and he only recommended the NY strip steak (again, there aren’t a lot of options on the menu). We ended up ordering the Redfish Amandine, the NY Strip, asparagus and the baked potato for sides. Thankfully, he told me the redfish was a fried fish (not noted on the menu) and I was going to change my order but he said they could pan fry which was acceptable, and turned out good. The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. There are only 3 dessert options- none of which sounded appealing- so we skipped dessert. Overall good experience and I would go back again.
