Mission BBQ never misses! The brisket was perfectly moist and flavorful – truly some of the best around – and the mac and cheese was superb as always: creamy, cheesy, and the ultimate comfort side. Every visit feels like a treat.
A huge shout-out to Jason, the manager, who goes above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for customers set the tone for the entire team. You can tell he takes pride in making sure every plate and every experience is top-notch.
Between the outstanding food, spotless service, and patriotic atmosphere, Mission BBQ continues to be one of my favorite places to eat. Highly recommend!
There has been a time before when a staff member gave her a hand made plushie. That was during the summer of 2025 but she still loves that plushie and it’s very special to her!! I wish I knew the employees name but I know she has done this same thing with other children too, her story will be recognizable.
The Oviedo location is just amazing and there’s not enough I could say to show how grateful I am!
Their level of service truly stood out and helped everything run smoothly during the reception. If you’re searching for wedding catering that delivers amazing food along with exceptional service, Mission BBQ is a fantastic option.
Hands down, my palate was overwhelmed with a medley of flavors creating a chorus of moans and groans making it impossible to claim a favorite dish.
I really mean that!
Sarah was amazing, as she and her crew embraced me with their hospitality. I was so thankful to my motorcycle buddy who is a Vietnam veteran for bringing me here.
We ride to restaurants all over central Florida, and had great food, but I never felt this way about the experience.
I was so moved, I took the unusual act of bringing home food to my wife. Which is normally not feasible on a motorcycle!
I wish every Vet could have this experience. We are often given the platitude thanking us for our service as performative or customary. Like saying “How are you?” as a greating rather than a question.
Everyone who expresses anything to me, did so genuinely! I have to apologize for not making eye contact with my server. I didn’t understand her purpose and received her with confusion. But she like Sarah was there to make me feel appreciated and reassured that providing a service to me was their job, but also their pleasure.
It reminded me of my service. Yes, I expected my paycheck, but I never lost sight of my charge to defend something much greater than myself.
Taking care of the wounded souls who make it back, and walk among us ✨️
The food they prepared for me and my brother was so delicious, I forgot to take a pic. Because it was just barbecue…until I tasted it. The excitement meter pegged disrupting the hunt for the perfect sauce. I know there was a problem because the food made every sauce taste goooood.
Our server, or Sarah, or someone else came to our table with a suggestion on the sauce while noting a need for refills. I don’t know who it was because the food was like an addiction, rising to the forefront of every thought and encounter.
My wife made some of the same familiar sounds I did, demanding I share her meal. As if I didn’t already eat. The brownie Floored us, with its moist texture and rich flavor.
I didn’t have the heart to tell her the banana pudding and bread pudding I had at the restaurant was just as amazing
I grew up in Brooklyn, NY and was stationed in Japan watching the towers go down. Thanks for remembering.
I started my career as a Submariner, but that Army Smoker Truck outside was Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious
OBTW, after 30 different countries I still look for the USO in every airport. As a child I watched Bob Hope do his thing for the troops.
ET1(SS/SW/MTS) US Navy, Ret.
I grew up in Maitland and grew up on Sonny’s BBQ. We still like Sonny’s now and again, but MISSION is our go-to
My husband served in the Army and they always say, “Thank you for your service” and occasionally offer him a FREE desert, which he sometimes shares with me
From the moment you walk in, you WILL be greeted with, “Welcome in” by Heather and the other cashiers. Easy ordering, they call your name when your tray of food is ready, the booths and tables are comfortable. Bring a sweater because the air-conditioner works ️ Best time to come? Anytime, but get a seat before 12:00 noon and you will be AMERICAN PROUD
OH, when you go to wash your hands in the restroom, those FLOWERS in there are REAL and the Manager, JASON, gets them from SEMINOLE FLOWER SHOP
Enjoy and FOOD and the atmosphere ️
BTW they also do catering and weddings and occasionally do FREE GIVEAWAYS for “stuff” or BBQ!
