Idk which came first, texas corral or texas roadhouse but roadhouse definitely does it better. I got the sirloin medium and it was just chewy and bland. It looks like they put course salt on top after plating but I couldn’t taste anything else. The potato was great.
The atmosphere seems tired.. I think that’s the best way to describe it. Silverware and cups were also not the cleanest and we had fruit flies around our table.
Service was fine and fast but nothing above and beyond.

Food was very good ! Fair pricing also exceptional service and great waitress staff. Food was a little bland but nothing salt and pepper couldn’t fix . Had the Bone in ribeye which was big tender and great flavor Mac and cheese was creamy the stuffed mushrooms and mesquite shrimp were very good . Great dining experience overall especially from a traveling trucker . Took a meal to go with all my leftovers big portions.

Its a good location with plenty of parking for where it is. Atmosphere when we walked in was good. Everyone was smiling and we were seated immediately. Waitress was good with couple jokes. My GF and I got a Texas Flower and I got Salad, Loaded Baked Potato, and 12 Oz Ribeye. Gf got country fried chicken with mashed potato and chicken and dumplings. Gf said her food was great. My steak, salad, and Texas Flower was great. However the Baked mostly was good but there was this hard black ball of something that looked like it was super overcooked like a mini potato. That put a damper on the potato but it was mostly good. Overall experience was good and recommend to people.

For what it was, I did think it was overpriced compared to the area.

WORST STEAK AND SHRIMP EVER!!!!
First walked in the door, hostess seemed annoyed. She did greet us and sat us right away. We waited about 6 min for the waitress who took our drink order. Waitress never cracked a smile the entire time we were there. She was very efficient but not very personable. I ordered the sirloin steak med well with mesquite grilled shrimp and loaded potato. Potato was the best part of the meal. Steak was bland and about a 1/4 inch thick. See pics. The shrimp was barely warmed up and they dumped raw seasoning on it. Not grilled at all. This was the worst food ever. Service was good but the waitress was not friendly at all.

Waitress never introduced herself and never smiled. I went 1/09/26 and everyone seemed to be unhappy. We asked for steak sauce and they acted pissed off. I could have ate at Texas Roadhouse for $40 more for a family of 5 and with appetizers plus 4 of us got steak&1 fish, if I’m paying that price I want good service . There was only 2 of us there that night

Friendly wait staff. Had the shrimp and ribs combo. The salad was fresh the and shrimp was delicious. The ribs had good flavor but a little over cooked. They fell off the bones but the meat was dry. Would definitely try again.

Man oh man! Let me start off by saying,
I love Texas Roadhouse, and nothing ever stood in my way of that, but my husband and I wanted something different. We traveled around from harstville to Shelbyville ( had to get my coffee on at 7brew) and came around this Texas corral. I was so skeptical because nothing beats roadhouse. But I was so wrong!!!! The parking lot had so many parking spots, and not at all over crowded. We parked, walked in and was hit in the nostrils. The smells that filled the atmosphere was like a warm hug, like a meat hug lol. We was seated fast. And had an amazing waitress unfortunately I did not catch her name. From the start we wasn’t rushed on our order, we enjoyed it very much. From the mozzarella sticks appetizer, to his countryfried chicken with mashed potatoes and steak fries,
To my full rack of ribs, bake potatoes and steak fries, everything turned out amazingly awesome. You know how most people put barbecue sauce on the ribs and it’s like too much. This place did not do that this place put the barbecue sauce on the side and when I tell you I have never had ribs actually fall apart when you just pick them up. Everything was cooked to perfection, we will be back and this time we are bringing our kids!

I doubt I have ever reviewed a steak house chain before. We eat in this type of place rarely but this was a “when in Rome” situation. And I have to confess, I was pleasantly surprised. The wait was way less than expected on a Saturday and the service was excellent. The food (appetizers and two different steaks) was perfectly adequate for the price. My only real complaint was most everything was WAY too salty. I would recommend anyone with high blood pressure avoid this joint altogether.

The price is outrageous for what you get not sure if it’s supposed to be like a Texas Roadhouse but it was very disappointing. They brought us a lunch menu and as we made up our mind that you can’t get away and told us we couldn’t have it she didn’t even know why they brought it to us very rudely. So the next best thing was to get a $20 appetizer so we can taste four different things 4 paid $20 for a lousy hamburger will never return to that place.
