Beautiful views, great people/service and delicious food!! The huevos rancheros were so tasty! And you have to get the hand made tortillas to go with it too! Mari was very sweet and Leo the owner is so nice! Definitely coming back to try some more food. ☺️

This is my partner’s go to spot for breakfast when we’re in Santa Cruz and this place always hits. I tried their Corralitos Smoked Sausage burrito and it was delicious! A great spot right on the water.

We were tired and hungry after a day at the beach and they sat us so fast with a gorgeous view. They let us order our kids food immediately and brought it within 3 or 4 minutes. Chips and drinks came within 1 minute. Our girls 7 & 9 asked me to write a 5 star review because they know good service. Margarita was awesome as well! Definitely will be back!

I’ve been eating here for many years, and love the salmon burrito and the great staff, but recently noticed that a hidden service charge was quietly added to each item on my take-out order. No mention was made on the menu of this extra charge, which frankly makes the prices on the menu a flat-out lie. I don’t object to the prices, but I do object to the dishonesty. Don’t we have enough lies in our lives these days without our local taqueria joining in? Shame on you.

The staff was on top of everything. This was our first time here, but you could tell they have a lot of locals that they know by first name. They treated my daughter and I just as friendly.

The food and drinks were great. My daughter loves shrimp so I got her a bean and cheese burrito and we split the steak and shrimp fajitas. The fajitas are definitely enough for two. Burrito will be a perfect snack later on.

Their salsa and guac are great!

Thank you to the staff for such a great experience for lunch.

Worthwhile! Delicious Mexican fare. We enjoyed a large tasty combo platter and took leftovers home. No wait on a December Sunday evening. Service was excellent. While the decor is modest and a very casual vibe, food quality, modest prices, tasty cocktails and incredible location ON the beach make this place wonderful ❣️Music volume was perfect.

We were visiting relatives in the area. A beautiful view of the ocean with the great windows. We ate a delicious brunch.

Food was below average, $30 for some appetizers and they refused to provide any salsa on the side.

Tacos are very watery and mushy and don’t hold up when eating. Lacking flavor overall.

We ordered various tacos and burritos and was disappointed for all. Definitely won’t be eating here again.

I was born in SC and grew up here. This is one of the top Mexican restaurants on the Monterey Bay. Excellent food, service, prices, servings, views and atmosphere. New family gatherings location when visiting from my new home state of Idaho. We Love Cafe El Palomar. ❤️
