Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

3 out for 5 orders wrong, mind you the 3 that were wrong were repeated multiple times. Please just say “I can’t hear you” if that’s the case.
Spending close to 55$ when it’s not busy is more infuriating when you get home with your family and have a wrong order.
Also to note, if someone says “only *whatever condiment on the burger,” it means take what basic condiments comes on it off.
People who handed the order were nice and great though, I appreciate your assistance. So mainly the issue, was the person taking the order. Food tasted good either way, so nothing wrong with the cooks.

Five stars, hands down! I added a double Whataburger sandwich to my order, plus a Powerade, small fry, and chicken bacon sandwich—all while keeping it under fifteen bucks. That five-dollar special for the chicken bacon melt with the fry and drink was a steal. Late at night, my server was super helpful, and the food came out lightning fast. Whataburger never disappoints!

Waited in line outside for over 30 minutes just to order and when we finally got our food, it was cold the cheese on the burger was not melted and not well cooked. They are super slow and looks like no one is supervising this horrible service or it falls on depth ears. Never coming back here again! Y’all are charging for this trash food and service and waiting forever in line!

FOOD POISONING ALERT
I got their breakfast at midnight last night. Worst mistake. I have been throwing up and explosive diarrhea since 5am and it is now 1pm and it has not let up. Either unsafe food or food handling. I will have to go see a doctor. save yourself the trip.

I dined inside this location. Food was great because I love Whataburger so I’m biased when it comes to Whataburger. As I was waiting for my order the staff started handing out free samples of some sort of strawberry dessert that they seem to of wanted to try out with customers. I wasn’t offered a free sample even though I was sitting in one of the tables where they started handing out samples. It’s as if I was completely invisible because they offered everyone inside the restaurant a sample except me. I might sound petty writing this review but because I love Whataburger and it’s food I also would have wanted to been offered a sample.

Update: I did another order recently again from this location in the evening but from doordash and yet, the food was not good (especially the fries being all soggy and disgusting) once again and they still put onions in my burger even after I requested no onions when i placed the order and it shows clear as day in the receipt! I had to call whataburger corporate and no one has yet to have gotten back with me past the 48 hour timeframe I was given to be contacted.

I don’t know what it is with the night staff, but giving me a burger with raw bacon is unacceptable and could’ve caused me to be ill had I not checked the burger before I consumed it. I reported this to uber eats. This isn’t the first time i’ve had an issue from this location at night and that experience was in person from being given the wrong order. Do better

This location is by far, my favorite one. Customer service was excellent. The food was excellent, and the store was very clean. If y’all are in the area looking for breakfast or lunch, definitely go to this one. Keep up the good work y’all.

Very few franchise burger joints beat Whataburger! Probably one of my top favorite things in Texas. I usually go with their Number 2 with cheese since it’s pretty filling, but their chicken tenders, and breakfast tacos are also pretty good. Located in a pretty great spot of South Austin, near South Park Meadows, this location is pretty well taken care of by the day crew. Props to them!

I ordered a curbside pick up and 15 minutes after I checked in to my spot on the app, I went in to check on my food and they had it sitting on the counter. I also ordered a coffee and it was literally sweet milk. Super slow service. Giving them 2 stars because their bathroom was unlocked so I had no issues getting in to use it.
