I went with a group of four people. I’ve heard the wait times here can take a while so we went a bit earlier and we did not have such a long wait time. We started with the tuna pizza, crispy rice spicy tuna and the Kmac sliders. All of the apps were extremely delicious. We ordered a few different rolls as well. They were all pretty good. Nothing was wow but everything was above average. I would dine again.

I had a wonderful experience lunching with two friends at Kotobuki in Roslyn, NY. We ordered salmon teriyaki, tendon (shrimp and vegetable tempura) and beef negimaki. Each entree came with a bowl of soup and salad. The food was excellent, with authentic Japanese flavors that left me craving for more. The short wait time was impressive, and the attentive waiter service added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. I truly appreciate the effort put into creating such a memorable experience. I highly recommend this place.

Casual spot with great selection of sushi and hot options. The hostess/server was a bit pushy in trying to getting us to order within 2, 5, 8, and 10 minutes after sitting down. Have I been outside the US this long that it felt pushy? Otherwise fish is fresh and a good balance of options from the kitchen. We had the tempura udon, broiled hamachi, the American dream roll, and some nigiri. Will definitely go back again.

Solid sushi spot for lunch, not super crowded. I had the sushi lunch special both the sushi and the salmon rolls were excellent. I am not a fan of California rolls so I was happy when the allowed me to substitute free of charge. The fish was fresh and you tell it was good quality sushi. Will be coming back!

Food is always great and we always ask for King he’s kind,considerate and pleasant always there to help if you have a question to ask and you don’t understand what’s on the menu. Order give you an opinion on what you should order He is the best, definitely an asset to your restaurant in Roslyn. I don’t go anywhere else for Japanese food .

I came here for lunch with my mother for my birthday. I had to work so I couldn’t get there until 3:30pm. The restaurant closes at 4pm and reopens at 5pm. We were the only ones dining inside. There were a few customers outside. Our waiter did not seem happy to see us. After we were served. Our waiter didn’t tell us he was going on break. He was eating at table with some of the other staff. I had to find someone to give us our bill. Needless to say, I did not leave the tip I normally would have. Had he treated us as welcomed customers. Sad when a restaurant works so hard to serve quality food and it’s ruined by poor service. Otherwise, I highly recommend it. I order the salmon bento. It was a little pricy for a bento, but so totally worth it. Because it’s also bigger than most bentos. It was SO good. The quality of food, preparation, and presentation were all wonderful. Highly recommend. I just hope you get a better waiter than we did.

Haven’t had a chance to sit in but have ordered take out a few times and have yet to be disappointed. Seamless ordering through google (instead of having to call), pick up is easy and my order is usually ready before the pickup time. Fresh sushi with some great appetizers. Really a fan of their ginger dressing for their house salad.

Nothing tasted fresh. Uni was horrible. Waitress insisted on putting plates over our shoulders and above our heads instead of going around us. She didn’t come to us at all. Rolls are overpriced and stale. Very unsatisfied.
