When we lived nearby, we came to this ice cream shop frequently. Now that we have moved away, if we are nearby, we always have to stop! They have the best home made ice cream. The lines get long but they move quickly. Staff is friendly. I love they have a convenience store attached along with a deli. If you are ever in the area, this is a must try for hand scooped ice cream! They have a ton of flavors! The ice cream cakes are also really good!

First time visiting, the deli sandwiches were yummy but the ice cream was delicious! Their homemade & hand dipped ice cream is super creamy and smooth. We couldn’t leave without getting 2 boxes to go! I would like to mention that they don’t have any indoor seating though. Luckily we came when it wasn’t raining and we could sit on the retaining wall by the parking lot to eat our food.

Quaint little ice cream shop that stays busy. It really is no wonder they do stay busy too! Their ice cream selection is large and boy is it tasty!
The staff is as sweet as the ice cream. They are a friendly lively bunch that make you feel right at home. You are treated like one of the family and not just as a guest.
The prices are spot on. I got a coffee milkshake and I must say it was one of the best I’ve had!

Really great, family oriented place for awesome ice cream and treats. And ice cream oriented supplies – cones, sprinkles, syrups. Most people find a wall nearby or in their cars. Creative ice cream flavors.

1st time here today. My wife got 2 scoops-
Chocolate Chocolate chunk in a waffle cone and I got an American Cold cut sub and coleslaw! All of it was amazing! The staff here is also very friendly and helpful! No one sitting on their thumbs here! I’ll definitely be back!

My first time here and I will definitely be back! I got Bavarian Raspberry in a waffle cone. It was devine! My boyfriend got a scoop of Banana Fudge and a scoop of Cake Batter. Both of those were really good as well. The ice cream was creamy and had great flavor. The staff (who appeared to be all teenagers) were nice. Prices were very reasonable as well.
Visit #2: Came back again to try some fall flavors. Both the pumpkin and snickerdoodle were good but a little underwhelming. My boyfriend got the apple pie and it was delicious.

Always love our visits to Hoffman’s. For us, it’s truly a special treat as we aren’t able to go often. However, the customer service there has always been amazing… And the flavors top notch! Never disappointed!

I was born and raised in Westminster, MD until we moved overseas. We used to go to Hoffman’s after our baseball games and the ice cream was always amazing.
Since we were visiting Maryland, I brought my own kids here and it was every bit as good as I remembered from my childhood years.
The girls loved it too. And WOW that S’mores Sundae is incredible! It’s big enough for at least two or three people .
Here’s to another 75 years!
