We had the most amazing time with our family today celebrating wins and Birthday’s! We never ran out of drinks, and the food was phenomenal! I asked for a recommendation and it did not disappoint! I had the chicken BLT with cheese as suggested by our waiter, Chris Scott. 10/10 recommend. The flavor was perfection, paired with the sweet potato fries and I was in Heaven. My Husband and son had the jerk chicken tacos and completely cleared their plates! I don’t drink alcohol, but my mom and sister both have the espresso martinis and they looked beautiful and they said that they were amazing. The atmosphere was so cozy exactly what I would imagine a tavern to be. I definitely think everyone should give this place a try at least once while they are in Savannah. There’s even public parking right across the street! Gather your friends and head over to Boar’s Head Grill and Tavern for your next event or night out. Request Chris Scott if you can!

This is definitely a must visit/ must go restaurant on the Riverfront.
Even locals will love this restaurant if they haven’t tried it yet.
Service was phenomenal. The menu was creative but not overwhelming.
*Edit: I wanted to add that I believe our server’s name was Alyssa who was fantastic
We made a reservation (which I definitely recommend doing) and were able to request a window seat over looking the waterfront.
The food was just…… 1000/10. Unbelievably good. Everything was made in house including dressing and sauces.
Atmosphere was cozy but a little loud once it got busy since the restaurant itself isn’t very big.
But if you’re looking for a cozy restaurant on the waterfront with a great southern menu, this place should be your first choice

We stopped in today for lunch, getting out of the cold rain. Staff immediately greeted us, a d having known already what we were getting, the service was speedy. Our drinks were out in a split, followed by our appetizers. Husband did she-crab soup, which was delectable. We also shared a plate of fried green tomatoes (the dish comes with five healthy slices) which was very good, with feta and a balsamic glaze. I will be honest , I prefer when fried green tomatoes are served over cheese grits and a Sriracha aioli, but these were tasty none the less. As for our main courses, my husband got the Chef Philips crab cake sandwich which he absolutely raved about. Full, big chunks of crab on a soft brioche style bun. Maryland style, with no heavy breading overpowering the taste. Just straight up crab goodness. I got the warm chicken salad that was served on a croissant and topped with melted havarty cheese. This was absolutely delicious. It looked like grilled chicken was used, and the spices and seasonings let the chicken stand out without drowning it in mayo. It came with a pasta salad side, which im gonna be honest, I didn’t dig too much. If you’re a fan of olives, like lots of them, you’ll love it. Me? Not so much. Keep the olives, thank you. I could have asked for another side, but I’m a shy goof, so I ate a bit of the pasta salad and smiled. I am ashamed to say we didn’t get our servers name, but she was fantastic! I think this is a lovely restaurant, nice atmosphere and delicious food and reasonably priced.

Always a fantastic visit. Great views and the best fish and chips (only available at lunch) in Savannah. Small bar so get there early if you want to sit there. One of our go to places in Savannah.

The shrimp and grits were amazing. Little salty but still amazing They brought us three chicken breast for our dogs. The bacon ranch shrimp appetizer was delicious. The bouillabaisse was good except they were out of clams so they substituted with swordfish. The dipping sauce for the sweet potato waffle fries was amazing.

Great menu, excellent service. Food was delicious and quick, would definitely recommend for a more quiet and intimate atmosphere away from the rowdier downtown area. Must try the shrimp and grits!

This was one of the best places we ate in Savannah. The bar was small, but cozy. The clam chowder was perfect on a chilly January day.

Down at River street for a vacation, tried this place out, our server Chris was fantastic!! The experience was awesome!!! The shrimp and grits was delicious, as was my wife’s burger, and mom’s fish and chips. Based on this one visit, I’d definitely recommend.

I’ve been so happy about picking a spot for dinner! Been to Savannah a bunch and always like to try new places for dinner. Ran into this place cause it was raining so stopped for desserts and some drinks. The group of friends loved it. I’m not a sweets person so it must mean something for me to write about it. The bartenders were great and the drinks amazing. We ended up coming back a few days later for dinner and everything we had was delicious. The server was on top of his game and loved it was an open kitchen. It isn’t a huge restaurant and had lots of history behind which the server told us out. The whole group would eat there again in a heart beat!! Highly recommended
