This time we come for lunch, (not busy) only to get soggy fries, barley warm chicken. And their children tenders were more like chicken nuggets. Customer service sucks. Food sucks. And to have to walk through the drive thru to go in is crazy. Surprised this location is still here.
I ordered “6 piece boneless wings with honey lemon pepper sauce” (I did say sauce, not realizing it was a dry rub). To which the speaker lady said “you’d like the 6 piece boneless wings with honey bbq on the side?” “No, I’d like the 6 piece honey lemon pepper wings” and I think she asked again if I wanted sauce on the side and I said sure.
First, my receipt is rung up as a 6 piece honey BBQ boneless wing.
Second, I said “honey lemon pepper” twice on the speaker. Why did they default to honey BBQ?
Third, the sauces I got on the side were BBQ and ranch.
I tried explaining it at the window saying “I wanted the honey lemon pepper” and she kept repeating the sauces they had so I said “the honey lemon pepper is on the spicy level chart of like 7 flavors though?” Then she said “the honey lemon pepper is only a dry rub.”
???????
I start eating the wing, it is SO good satiating my craving for sure. I start eating the thigh and I feel something between my teeth. So, I stop eating the chicken and there is a freaking long hair coming out of the chicken that had been fried under the skin and was still attached under more skin so I’m assuming it was wrapped around or something. I immediately wanted to throw up. I was SO pissed and disgusted.
I tried to submit a complaint on the website but I was unable to because the website required a receipt. I obviously threw my receipt away because why would I think I would need it?
Anyway, I’m never returning to this Popeyes ever again in my life it was a health hazard and they need to be inspected by the health department. Absolutely disgusting.
And I’m STILL craving my Popeyes.
I came into redeem a TMOBILE Tuesday promotion code using Popeyes App. I was unable to enter a code anywhere on the app, and asked a manager for assistance. Nobody in the store knew how to use the Popeyes App, not even the Manager, or the cashier. The very nice manager called the owner, who was even less helpful and just kept repeating its a TMOBILE issue. No, the issue is YOU have not trained your employees how to help customers use your own app to place orders, its a training issue not a tmobile issue. Even the employee working the drive through said to another employee, “we should have asked someone how to do this”.
Kudos to the wonderful nice manager being as helpful as she could be. Unfortunately she or anyone else hasnt been trained by the Franchise owner. What a shame.
