Food came out fast enough. Online i read they did Baltis which I wanted, but they dont. The range of curries is pretty standard with the usual ones like Karahi and butter chicken and rogan josh. I wanted something different so ordered chicken and keema.
The portion looked small but was enough for two people… we ordered tandoori roti’s, one each. The rotis were slightly overcooked and were too crispy and dark. Later as they cold became too hard. I like rotis softer, flexible.
The curry was packed full of flavours. It had that kick from the chilli’s in it. The keema was made well and the mix with the chicken worked well. Definitely a good dish. Which you expect as this is a famous restaurant.
I was let down when it came to payment. Their wifi stopped working which meant we couldnt pay by card, and we had not taken enough cash to cover the cost. So it took bit of a while to sort out and eventually ended up having to pay by bacs, using banking app, which was also made difficult by the fact that mobile data in that area was slow.
They have parking round back, entry from a side entrance from front main road.
Service was more or less friendly enough.

I write to you as to my experience of visiting Mumtaz in Bradford today.
As a former Nhs Non-Executive Director, as a former CEO and Independent Chair with the AUAG, founder of Health Watch Leeds. I would like to add my experiences today of attending Mumtaz for over 25 years, today has been exceptional.
The quality of food for the breakfast menu I highly recommend, the food was so tasty, the portions were great and the quality was exceptional.
I had the pleasure of meeting one of the senior business development managers today with my family, who restored my already faith in Mumtaz quality of products and service exempla standards. I look forward to coming again and I highly recommend this establishment to all those existing and new customers as a breakfast menu is fantastic as a main course.
The food was tasty and fulfilling in all aspects using great products and awesome cooking style.

The place was so stunning the staff so friendly the food was unbelievable and the mango lassi was 10/10!!
I’d definitely recommend! I’ve heard if you’re looking to break your fast they offer dates and starters complimentary for your meal.

The chaat starters are unreal get them!!!
Also the plates are warm which is always a nice touch for me

Simply delicious.
However, after speaking with Muhammed—who was very apologetic and professional—the situation quickly turned around. He took our concerns seriously and helped smooth things over.
On a more positive note, once we were seated, Zain really stood out. He welcomed us properly, took our order efficiently, and explained how busy the restaurant was, along with approximate wait times for food. His service was attentive and much appreciated.
While the start was disappointing, the staff’s efforts—particularly from Muhammed and Zain—helped recover the experience.
