The food was fantastic as always. The staff was very efficient and I did not have to wait long to receive my order. But the aesthetics of the property is abysmal. Behind the building there was clutter of odds and ends. There was trash in the parking lot weeds over took the flower beds Yes I know it’s winter. But still you can tell. And the parking lot needs a lot of attention. Either the cracks need to be filled in or it needs to be repaved. But even with all that the food is fantastic and I go at least three times a month.

The food is good and you get a great portion, the service is good. Now with that said you can not go inside this place and the people that do go in to make deliveries says its nasty inside if thats so theu need to address this issue and clean it up, iv not got sick from the place and as i said the food has always been good and at a good price. I think it would do better buisness if it opened back up where you could dine in and it was cleaned up.

I am a very big fan of Japanese food so it pains me to say this is probably the worst Japanese I have ever had. For context I went through the drive thru so I cannot comment on the dining experience. What I will say is this: I have ate at a lot of japanese restaurants and this is the worst one by far. Let me start off by actually talking about what I did like because It surprised me – The Fried Dumplings. That was actually the highlight of the meal and is the only reason I didn’t leave a 1 star review. They were VERY delicious and the sauce had a good flavor. Thats unfortunately the only good thing I had. For my main meal I got the Teriyaki Steak which comes with rice, carrots, mushrooms and a few pieces of broccoli. The steak was awful, there was absolutely NO Teriyaki sauce on it whatsoever. It was very tough, didn’t have any flavor and very hard to chew. I actually ended up spitting out a couple pieces which BTW, I was only given like 6 pieces of steak which aren’t but about a Chick Fil A chicken nugget size. The rice tasted steamed which traditionally Most Japanese restaurants fry their rice so I did not enjoy that. The carrots were “okay” not leaving anything to be desired. I could have went without the broccoli and mushrooms and maybe they would give me more steak. After a little while of eating my stomach also felt upset so I am hoping my food was prepared in a clean environment. Overall this was just a huge disappointment because I see people going there ALL the time. I feel like I should have just ordered more fried dumplings as I was way more satisfied with those. I simply cannot recommend this place over other places in the Tri Cities such as Motos or Misakis which are my two favorites for Japanese.

Sushi not edible, weird gross taste.
Steak overcooked when ordered rare, very chewy.
Rice has the taste and consistency of Uncle Ben’s instant microwave rice.
White sauce has the consistency of water.
Chinese soy sauce is not what is served with sushi.
For any of those reasons I’d never eat there again. All of them was horrifying!

Let me first say I am one of the last ones to complain about food. But we visited this restaurant and first off the drinks were flat. The chicken tasted like it had been under a warmer for two to three hours. It was hard to eat. The carrots were undercooked and hard to eat as well. This is our first time at this restaurant in Bristol. We however have had good quality food from the location in Kingsport. We won’t visit this one anymore.
