They started the meal with some fried strips of bread and three lovely dipping sauces.. next we had the shrimp appetizer and wow, fresh, sweet and perfectly cooked. For the main we had the chicken tikka masala with some garlic naan… all washed down with a King Fisher beer!
Perfect service, great good and a lovely atmosphere – could not as for more!
The perfect amount of flavour & spice for all their dishes.
Service was also impeccable – Kiran served us both times and was so knowledgeable in 3 languages!!!
We ordered the Hyderabadi Dum Biryani, Madras Chicken Curry, Kerala Mutton Curry, Malabar Chicken Biryani, Mysore Masala Dosa, Paper Dosa, Malabar Paratha, Tandoori Naan + Mango Lassi. also gave us a complimentary drink at the end that was delicious!
Would 100% come again and recommend to anyone
Also have nut & seafood allergies – no concerns with any of these dishes! Huge bonus
Great food, clean place, and great ambience
Kiran and Rohit were exceptionally amazing at what they do!
Thank you again!
Manager is 10/10. I have never seen such good customer service from Indian restaurant before he deserves a raise. I thought he was the owner the way he was dealing with us. Such employees are like an asset. I asked him 45 minutes before closing that if I should make the final order, he politely said, sir ! no rush, eat your food, We are open for you. So nice of him. May God bless him.
We went into the restaurant to order take away and were greeted by a very friendly staff member on the front desk. He invited us to use the entrance way chairs while we looked at the menu. After we ordered and we’re waiting for the food to be prepared, he came around with small glass of a very tasty homemade fruit smoothie.
When the food was prepared, he went through and made sure all the food was correct, then checked how many plates/utensils we needed.
At the end, he even rounded down the price and gave us a small discount.
On top of all the service mentioned above, the food was excellent. The most interesting dish was Gobi 65 (deep fried cauliflower florets with Inidian spices).
Highly recommended all round!
The on site menu is more extensive to include many mutton delicacies, south Indian breads like Malabar porotta etc.. but the options available for delivery via glovo were limited with none of the above itemson the menu.
I ordered egg biryani online and the item received was in fact more of an egg fried rice. (attaching the photo Vs a really egg biryani which comes with boiled eggs and the masala). The mutton biryani and the chettinad curry ordered in person were excllent, but the chicken madras ordered online was the standard fare that you get in any ordinary Indian eatery.
Online orders doesn’t come with any condiments unlike their restaurant (and majority of other indian restaurants) and there wasn’t even an option to order it separately.
Overall, the direct experience in the restaurant was excellent but the online order was below average.
