While we initially sat, we had the pleasure of engaging with Nate who is an assistant server, but who behaved and composed himself as if he had been there for years. Genuine and sincere, he made sure our initial moments while being seated (and throughout) were comfortable and fun. I hope he is the first face you encounter while dining because he sets up one of the most upstanding, unreal, and Michelin level servers you may ever encounter in your life.
Brett Zitzelberg is a server that operates on a level I’ve encountered maybe one or two other times in my life internationally. Passionate about the dining experience, empathetic to guests and their stories, and an avid fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, I cannot stress enough that you will be privileged if you have Brett as your server. I won’t go into the details of just how considerate and forthcoming he is as a person because I want you to experience it firsthand. Gentleman, he is our guy, sincerely. Ask for him.
While dining, our entree plating was presented to us by the remarkable Abraham, whom we wish the best for in his upcoming wedding. Thank you for all your kind comments and service during our special night and sharing some of your life with us, sir.
I bring this next part up only to highlight the level of service and professionalism at Capital Grille by another individual, Mr. Adam. There was a minor mistake on the wellness of my partner’s filet, so it was sent back without question. It was an incredibly busy night, so I know the kitchen was slammed and unfortunately the filet took longer than expected to come out. However…
Mr. Adam took it upon himself to come over, apologize personally, serve us himself and ask if there was absolutely anything else we needed on our special night. These gestures are expected, but that it was Mr. Adam who took the time and care to make sure we were comfortable was unexpected. This is the kind of statement and class you can fully expect and will experience at Capital Grille.
Both Brett and Adam kept our complimentary champagne filled, our conversations full of laughter, and helped close the night in a symphony of joyous and memorable moments that once again, I implore you to experience yourself.
We will be dining at Capital Grille at Millenia again without question and have been recommending it to all our friends, coworkers, and to you, dear Reader. This is THE spot for dinner in the area and one of the finest in all of Orlando. We all roll the dice on a night out and hope the food is great. I think every review here has shown Chef and the kitchen are beyond reproach when it comes to flavor. But what we really roll the dice on is the experience and I can sincerely say that dining at Capital Grille is not something you need to roll the dice on. Go with an appetite and with full confidence.
From the moment I walked in, the host set the tone, warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The bar was full, but instead of brushing me off, they took the time to find a spot and made me feel welcome immediately. That kind of awareness and hospitality goes a long way.
Once seated, Jon and Star behind the bar were outstanding. Professional, attentive, and easy to talk to, the perfect balance of letting you enjoy your time while still being fully taken care of. They clearly know their craft and how to read the room, which makes the bar experience feel relaxed instead of rushed.
Now let’s talk about the food, specifically the lamb lollipops. They are, without question, the star of the show, as they always are. Perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and consistently executed the way they should be. This is one of those dishes you don’t need to overthink, when it’s done right, you know immediately, and The Capital Grille does it right every time.
What I appreciate most about this restaurant is that it focuses on the experience. You’re not hurried. You’re not upsold. You’re allowed to take your time, enjoy conversation, and actually be present. That’s something that’s becoming increasingly rare.
There are plenty of places you can eat, but places that combine consistency, professionalism, and genuine hospitality are harder to find. The Capital Grille continues to be one of them. Whether you’re stopping in for a drink at the bar or sitting down for a full meal, you know exactly what you’re going to get,and that’s why I’ll keep coming back.

We had a minor issue with a salad (extremely minor, ordered one but got another, easy mistake) Emmanuel handled it swiftly and gracefully and the salad was delicious. My daughter absolutely loved her chicken and risotto, my husband enjoyed the halibut and risotto (the special) and I had the ahi that was ok, I think I wanted a bit more from that dish for the price, maybe a vegetable medley, I’m not sure it was just missing something. The portions were great without being too much or too little.
We had cocktails which were lovely and tasted fresh and poured well (black tie margarita, the Doli, and the Negroni).
