Rovali’s is unique in many ways. First and foremost, we are family owned. We have a full service Espresso & Cocktail bar with a wide variety of drinks to choose from. Try one of our Italian Margaritas! We also make our desserts from scratch. Andrea is our baker and one of the owners. She brings an incredible talent for your palette. Chef Ro has more than 25 years of experience in cooking fine Italian Cuisine. We call him the Master of Spice for his unmatched cooking style. We also have many gluten free options, as well as, vegetarian sauces and entrees!

I’m an extreme pasta connoisseur and this place caught my eye on Google. I had the angel hair tomato basil (a customer favorite) and I was absolutely delighted. The noodles were homemade and fresh, the sauce was so flavorful and it was served steaming hot. It came with a salad and one of the best rolls I’ve ever had! The bread was crispy and seemed like it was baked fresh. We also started off with a Mama’s meatball appetizer which was AMAZING. A giant meatball covered in mozzarella cheese with hearty meat sauce and some garlic bread. The entire meal here was an experience. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a delicious Italian dinner. It was so good that I had to get a spaghetti to go! It does get crowded very fast as seating inside is limited. Parking is along the street and can be hard to get. We will for sure be returning a minimum of 5 more times during our time here in Utah.

I got the Rovali tour which had the ravioli, lasagna with meatballs sauce, and the fettuccini Alfredo.
Nothing really stood out.
The best thing was the garlic roll which was decent at best.

TLDR: Dining in the restaurant isn’t bad, ordering delivery you’d be better off playing Russian roulette.
We have eaten at the location a few times, wait times for a restaurant in Ogden are high every time we have gone. Food is awesome if you eat there. Environment and atmosphere are ok, not great but not bad. Service is hit and miss, some are amazing some made me wonder if I’d have been better off ordering from the wall.
Fast forward to the delivery. Do you like Tiramisu that has fermented? Do you like food poisoning? Do you like paying more to have food brought to you that is luke warm and roughly half the serving size? Do you like getting tomato flavored water with a couple bits in it instead of Minestrone soup? Do you like ordering Spaghetti and getting Rigatoni instead? Then this is the place for you. I recommend cold cereal more than this restaurant. We gave them multiple chances and this is a location that is taking FULL advantage of delivery/DoorDash orders more than any other location in the last ~6 years in a 20 mile radius. Don’t order this for delivery, just don’t.

We had a really nice evening at Rovali’s Ristorante Italiano. The restaurant has a charming and cozy Italian feel, and the outdoor patio area especially creates a relaxing atmosphere that’s perfect for a dinner with family or friends.
The pasta dishes were flavorful and comforting, with rich sauces and well-balanced seasoning. The garlic bread and salad were also a great start to the meal. Everything felt homemade and nicely prepared.

Me and a few friends came to Rovali’s after waiting an hour and a half at another Italian restaurant in the area, that failed to even take our order. We ended up leaving the other restaurant and showed up at Rovali’s. It was like a breath of fresh air. Amelia, our waitress, was at our table within minutes of us being seated, despite the restaurant being absolutely slammed. She was funny and personable, she provided recommendations, and had our orders in no time. A little while later, Alex, the owner, stopped by the table to make sure we were taken care of. On top of that, the food was excellent. Overall, the food, the service, and the atmosphere were exactly what we needed to turn the night around. I will definitely be back. 5/5 stars – would highly recommend.

We stopped in here for dinner this past weekend. What a treat! Alex, the owner was so charming. He was seating everyone, and was very welcoming and friendly, and even shared a joke with each table as he sat them.
I tried the eggplant Parmesan, which he highly recommended. And he was not wrong — It was delicious! I got pasta on the side with mine.
My mom tried the eggplant Parmesan as well but she ordered the fresh steamed veggies on the side. She said everything was very good.
The dinners also came with fresh baked rolls. So much food! We love every bite. Thank you!

The atmosphere of this restaurant is really amazing! They have actually photographs of Italy landmarks under the glass of the table with more decorations on the walls. For my main entree, I ordered the tortellini which was pretty good! It came with a side of soup or salad and I decided on the soup, specifically the tomato basil soup and WOW. It was very delicious!! I really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff as well! Overall, I really enjoyed my experience here and will definitely return in the future.
