Fantastic pizza. Came here from out of state. Wanted to see what authentic Detroit deep dish was. Got recommended Buddy’s by a local and was blown away at how good it was. Who could ever go to little caesars after having the real deal. Great beer on tap and service was very fast and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back if ever in town.

Buddy’s Pizza in Novi is delicious. We have been eating here for years. Have had a few larger parties in the one room that holds a lot of people. Everyone has always enjoyed their meals. We enjoyed the BBQ Chicken Pizza Conant we add pineapple to it. So delicious. Cheese and Bacon fries with a side of ranch is an amazing appetizer. Great service by amazing staff. Kid friendly.

In town for a work trip and spent the majority of my prep time researching the best place to get Detroit pizza in the area, and all signs pointed to Buddy’s. Called in an order to be picked up after work and was impressed with the speed and quality of their takeout. Nick, who worked the separate takeout area in the back, was super friendly and made sure my order was correct before leaving. I got the 4 cut Super 6 Mile and it didn’t disappoint. The veggies were the perfect balance to the dense, gooey cheese and the dough had the perfect thickness to be chewy on the bottom but with crispy edges. All around pleasantly surprised with Buddy’s. The 4-cut was $18 but well worth it. As something with a big appetite I was only able to eat half, but will be enjoying the rest for cold breakfast tomorrow 🙂

Pizza was good, Order of bread sticks was good, and we got a salad. Went with a large group and the service and speed of food was really impressive. We had about 12 kids and about 12 adults and everything came out hot and together. Would recommend for a large gathering.

Never experienced Detroit pizza much until I came to Buddy’s last time. Came back and it was still the best. Fluffy buttery crust and fresh toppings. Great service and a great staff all the way around. Highly recommended.

I grew up on Buddy’s Pizza and always have appraised it as one of Metro Detroit’s premium Pizzarias. Sadly the quality of the pizza and salad I recently received in the Novi location has slipped so dramatically I will never return. The price has never been cheap, but the food was always top shelf. What I recently received and paid for is criminal in my mind.
Either the owner of this location has decided to make bank counting on the Buddy’s name a reputation and cheapening the ingredients, or the chain itself has slipped and in a death spiral..
It’s very sad to see this happen to a genuine Detroit Icon, for I’ve enjoyed the product for 50 years.
I may give the Sterling Heights location an opportunity to revive my trust and patronage, but Novi never again

Buddy’s never disappoints. There’s nothing that satisfies like a Buddy’s Pizza – in a class all by themselves!!
I ordered mushroom, green pepper and onion.
The crust is crunchy – the sauce is perfection.
The price is slightly more than you’d expect for a 4 square – $15 – this is why Buddy’s is a splurge.

Ordered in person carry out. The gentleman who took my order was polite, helpful & professional. I ordered a dc-6. Delicious. Compliments to the cook as well. In the area for my daughter’s volleyball. (Legacy). Don’t live in this area. I appreciate consistency.. Buddy’s always delivers.
