We had high expectations due to the location on the river, the name implying excellent pancakes and the full parking lot. The owners/staff greeting and checking us out were amazingly polite and welcoming. The decor is not new but fitting for a “classic” diner. I think it’s probably a lot better when it’s warm out and you can sit in the tent overlooking the river but the dining room is lively and bustling and fitting. We ordered standard breakfast fare with eggs and potatoes and sausages and bacon and omelettes and milkshakes. Everything was good. It’s seasoned for a do it yourself experience which may be by design but wasn’t what we expected. I was most looking forward to the coffee and it tasted burnt so I never got a refill which is unheard of for me. The people and service were solid and the location was great but what’s coming out of the kitchen in our opinion needs to catch up to the rest to boost the scores.

This is our go-to breakfast brunch place over the weekend. Love the energy in this restaurant and their staff. They are always so welcoming and kind. The ambiance is so good too. It’s right next to the river which makes it a perfect location during spring summer. They have maintained a nice patio outside which is beautifully decorated , always. The food is pretty good. It’s a perfect weekend brunch destination.

I’ve been going here since they first opened. I moved away but happened to be back in town. The place has not changed and that’s a good thing! The food was prepared perfectly and they know how to make a decent cup of coffee. This is primarily a breakfast type place. Good food, good service, and, as always, the parking lot was cramped and full. Can’t win them all.

I’ve been coming here to this family owned establishment for over 30 years. For sometime now, a younger generation have taken over, and continued the tradition of serving great food by such friendly staff. It’s even better now, as if that’s even possible.
SO MUCH that I decided to hold my family event in their private room. YES, they have a PRIVATE ROOM!!! It’s an area towards the back that can be reserved. AND yes they cater to your party needs.

Was craving pancakes and stumbled across this place on a Sunday morning. Came for brunch and ordered the hungry man’s breakfast which comes with pancakes. I customized my pancakes to blueberry and banana. We also ordered an omelette and French toast with coffee and orange juice. All was so delicious. I was amazed by how efficient the restaurant is operated. We received our food within 5 mins of ordering and the busboy even took our drinks order. Will definitely be coming back

Staffs are very friendly and efficient. Homey environment, and good quality of food. I am impressed by the flavor of the coffee. It’s not sour or bitter and not too strong. My first time to have two cups in a meal.
