Our server was super friendly, all smiles and very accommodating. We had the shrimp sampler and the carne asada. The coconut shrimp was way overcooked, but the tempura was really good. The carne asada was very good, it could have used a squeeze of lime, which didn’t come on the plate. What we truly appreciated was the fact that there was not excessive salt on anything. My biggest concern was not the food, but facilities, which shouldn’t be taken lightly. The men’s bathroom was disgusting.

The food was hot and fresh. I am a Chimichamga connoisseur and this was the best one I’ve ever had. It was fried perfectly. I went with the traditional ground beef. The salsa and guacamole are made fresh here ans you can taste the difference. The service was excellent. Highly recommend!

It took a while for us to get a waitress to serve us. When the waitress arrived she was very apologetic. The atmosphere did not really give me Mexican vibes and I’m Hispanic. The food was good. Could have had a little more flavor, but overall we would come again.

The town was busy but five of us were seated quickly. They seemed understaffed (like everywhere today) and our waiter was running around like crazy. We were brought chips, salsa and water fairly quickly.
The salsa was delicious but spicy. The chips and salsa were never ending. Once we were able to order, it did not take too long for drinks and food.
Reviews between the meals varied, but overall everyone thought the food was good.
Based on our experience, we would come back and recommend The Loop if you’re in town.

The Loop is a fantastic spot that never fails to deliver a great experience. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or meeting friends for a casual outing, the atmosphere is always lively and welcoming. The menu offers a nice variety of options, with something for everyone, and the food is consistently fresh and tasty. I especially enjoy the friendly and attentive service — the staff really make you feel valued as a customer. It’s a comfortable place to relax, enjoy good company, and indulge in some delicious meals. Overall, The Loop has become one of my favorite go-to spots, and I highly recommend giving it a try if you haven’t yet!

The perfect spot! Positioned right in town, The Loop is great for any time of the day with a menu full of Mexican delicacies! The quantities were large- which was fair considering the price of some of the entrees, however the taste did not disappoint! I’d recommend The Loop for anyone strolling around Manitou Springs, looking for a bite of Mexican!

Ugh, where do I even begin with The Loop in Manitou Springs? My sister was visiting from out of town, and we were looking forward to a nice meal based on some of the reviews we’d seen. Boy, were we ever wrong.
First off, the food was just plain awful. Seriously, how do you mess up enchiladas? They managed it. And the tamales? They tasted like they’d been marinating in vinegar. Just disgusting. For that kind of quality, you’d expect the prices to be rock bottom, but nope – we shelled out $70 for this garbage.
The service was somehow even worse than the food. Our waiter seemed to be actively avoiding us. He spent most of his time planted at the bar with his laptop or wandering around chatting on his phone. No smiles, no checking in, simply take orders and deliver terrible food. And it wasn’t even busy! There were maybe three other tables occupied.
The whole place felt dirty, which just added to the unpleasantness. I honestly don’t understand how this place has any good reviews. Maybe we caught them on a spectacularly bad day with multiple staff sitting around and physical dirt on the floors, but honestly, I wouldn’t risk it. Save your money and your taste buds and go somewhere else. We definitely won’t be back. Good luck if you decide to try it – you’ll probably need it!

As you may have noticed when looking a pictures they only show the outside of the establishment. That’s because if they had pictures of the inside you probably wouldn’t even step inside. The place is just gross. The chairs are cracked and crumbling apart. They still have dividers up from COVID which would be fine except they look like they haven’t been wiped down since 2020. The bathrooms are freaking disgusting and even the air is just thick and stagnant in there giving it a hot and stuffy feel. I honestly felt I needed to be hosed down after I left. If it hadn’t been for the fact we paid for parking we would have just left but we decided to risk it and eat. Which honestly grossed me out cause if the rest of the place is so gross I don’t even want to think about what the kitchen must look like. But we tried it and even the food was just gross and the margaritas were small but over priced. Our bill for two of us was 97 dollars! The audacity for them to charge that much for such a crappy experience. You get better food and service and pricing at La Casita for crying out loud! NEVER AGAIN!
