We started with some Dark Persuasion from Icicle and some of their chili cheese fries. The fries were super cheesy and very tasty with not overpowering smoke flavor.
My friends ordered the Cow-Tip-Dip and a half rack of ribs. The CTD had good flavor and the bun soaked up the au jus and still kept its structure. The half rack of ribs was smoked perfectly and paired well with their house BBQ sauce, it came with two sides and my buddy went with their potato salad and coleslaw, but complimented the ribs perfectly.
I got the dirty bird wrap and a house salad. The wrap was warm and the turkey was smokey and so delicious, but it did come with a copious amount of iceberg lettuce through most of the wrap. The house salad was pleasant with red and green lettuce, diced tomatoes, croutons, and your choice of dressing.
All and all, the food was tasty and filling and worth the slightly higher price. The service was fast and the good arrived quickly. I definitely plan to go back and try more of their menu.
d-i-e for! The jalepeno corn pasta is hot hot hot..mmmm! Baked potatoes are average (I suggest a buttery salted skin?) but the smoked turkey is a guarantee ony plate each time! And who gave y’all the right to sell a German chocolate cheesecake that I will be dreaming about for a long time???! Literally the BERY BEST cheesecake I’ve EVER had…ever. and I’m almost 50. Just saying. I’ll send my request for your diet plan because I’m surely going to gain a few lbs knowing your cheesecake secret now!!! Lol thanks for another great meal Outlaw! Mmmm!!!!
So we took my husband this last time to enjoy the best nachos ever. The chips were sogging almost right away. Something was different about the cheese, and the pork was way over salted. I don’t know if they have a new cook, but this really saddened me. Naturally the pulled pork sandwiches were also too salty.
This is so sad, as I love this restaurant. I didn’t send anything back, but if it happens again I will be forced to.
Beef brisket was hard to chew and dry. Needed sauce to go down the hatchet and even then didn’t love it.
Ribs were also dry. Hard to get everything off the bone and had lots of fat and lots of bones.
Pulled pork was okay. Only ate it with sauce which made it good. Sauce on top was okay.
Turkey was good, still had some moisture.
Ham was the best of the meats surprisingly. It was sweet and had a nice chewy texture. Easy to cut.
The fries were seasoned well and had some crunch.
The chili was over seasoned and runny.
The mashed potatoes were pretty good. Slightly dry mixture that lacked the consistency real potatoes do, seemed to come from a mix.
The mac and cheese had a smoky undertone which was nice. Very cheesy but also reminded me of Kraft’s.
Cheesy rolls had really hard cheese in the center. Crumbled apart and cold.
Bread rolls tasted like the store bought Hawaiian Rolls, not hand made.
Cookies and Cream Cheesecake just tasted like a walmart cupcake to me. Hard to cut and fake tasting frosting for $7.50 is steep.
Ended up taking leftover meat home just to feed it to the dog. Service was nice when they were available. Wouldn’t come again for overpriced processed food.
We ordered the Ruben Sandwich with Brisket. Others at our table ordered Brisket Tacos (plus a Cheeseburger, and Chicken strips from the kids menu).
At the end of the meal, we went to look at the dessert options – – – wow! So many delicious options.
We will definitely return to Outlaw Barbeque; we loved it!
