If you see many people are dining inside, don’t expect you will have great food. I just had a Terrible experience with the worst food. The fish soup isn’t made with fish, taste soo horrible and fishey. The oyster isn’t fresh too

We were a group of 4 seated right away. Ordered 2 hot chocolates, Cappuccino, Fries and a Cheese plate.

The Hot drinks are completely watered down and tasteless. So we sent them back and ordered beers instead.

The fries are too soft and oily. The cheese plate is okay but the bread chunks it came with are very hard and dried.

Service from our waitress was okay but the blonde lady who took our payment was rude when we asked about watered down coffees.

I try to avoid writing negative reviews as much as possible but here they failed at everything.

Overall, I honestly think its better you avoid this restaurant and go to any other local restaurants who takes their business seriously.

Just waiting to get onto the ferry we popped in for a spot of lunch . The meal was wonderful with plenty of selection for us and the kids. Really friendly helpful staff and had a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend to anyone especially Irish folks like us who can’t speak french as menu was easy to understand.

I came here with my family for a late Sunday lunch before taking the ferry and we really enjoyed the burger and chip and steak and chips with got. The service was good and the place is open everyday and serves food all day including Sundays!
It is also good to note that it was close to the ferry terminal, only 5 min drive and we could park in a nearby car park to walk to the Café du Port in 1 min.
They have a terrace outside and you can enjoy the views over the harbour.
We will come back.

Usually busy. Honest cafe food, at a reasonable price. Good view of the port, across a busy road, but the food was good. We enjoyed the prawns, baked camembert, and drinks.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this cafe! The food was really delicious, the portions are so big that they are hard to beat. The prices are very affordable, and the staff is sincere, helpful and always with a smile. Although the Google Reviews were not the best, our experience was the opposite – we had a great time and had a hearty and delicious meal. It is definitely worth visiting not only for the beautiful view, but also for the great food and pleasant service. I recommend it!

Avoid at all cost fish and chips cost over €20 and this is what you get, manky chips and fish that isn’t even fish and batter that’s not cooked waste of good money never go here again disgusting

Worst place we have eaten in France in 30 years.
Obviously only interested in turnover of customers not the quality of food or service!
My husband’s food was lukewarm – it had to be sent back!
I received the wrong order but the waitress was adamant I received what I had ordered.
I spoke to another couple who agreed their meal was the worst they had had.
Waiting times – long!
Don’t go.

I have tasted the cheese burger, which is a must among all of those I have tasted so far, along with a crepe with butter and sugar, that was very generous.

I will be back for another experience.

The service is good care, smilly, sympathic, respectfull, and carefull.

Enjoy the moment and the view on the docks and fort.

Tourist trap, a one and done kinka place where they don’t need repeat costumers. The fish and chips were not very good. Fish was mushy, like of had been frozen fish (we asked before ordering and were told it was fresh not frozen), the fries were old and cold. Good place for a beer or maybe a coffee.
