Hong Kong–style fare including dim sum, served in a modern space with exposed wooden rafters.

A fantastic experience at MA Chinese Cuisine during their all-you-can-eat dim sum lunch. There are so many options on the menu, and the small portions make it easy to sample a wide variety of dishes. It’s a great way to try many different flavors without getting too full too quickly. Everything we ordered was fresh, delicious, and came out at a good pace.
Even though it was a very busy lunch time, the service was still outstanding. Our server, Edward, was incredibly friendly and energetic. He kept a great attitude throughout the rush and made sure we had everything we needed. His warm personality really made the experience more enjoyable.

We had an amazing dining experience at Ma Chinese cuisine . We ordered Yang Chow fried rice, Peking duck, and Cantonese crispy noodles, and every single dish was outstanding—full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented.
For dessert, we tried the house special egg tart, mango pudding, and mango layered sponge cake, and they were just as impressive—light, fresh, and the perfect ending to the meal.
The ambience was pleasant and comfortable, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. This was truly one of the best Chinese food experiences we’ve had, and for the first time, not a single item disappointed us. Highly recommended, especially for the Peking duck!

I can’t even begin to express how impressed I am with this restaurant. Not only because of the food, which by far is the best anywhere I’ve tried in Southwestern Ontario, but the atmosphere & service couldn’t be any better! I can completely understand why people drive from Buffalo to Toronto to dine here. I’ll be driving from Essex County for sure. Top Notch!! Trust me I’m a foodie and this place is worth every single penny!!

I had a great experience at MA Chinese Cuisine. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We ordered three dishes: the ox tongue in chili oil, the beef with Chinese broccoli, and the pan-seared beef bun. Everything was very flavorful and well prepared. The ox tongue in chili oil had a nice balance of spice and tenderness, the beef with Chinese broccoli was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the pan-seared beef bun was crispy on the outside with a juicy filling.
My waiter, Edward, made the experience even better. He was very cheerful, joyful, and attentive throughout the meal. His friendly attitude really made me feel welcome.
Overall, great food and great service. I would definitely come back again!

I cannot say enough good things about this place! The xiaolongbao was delicious and the salted egg yolk custard buns are quite possibly one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. The dim sum here is fantastic and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful. All the prices are really fair, and the servers are absolutely lovely. My boyfriend had left his ring there and we came back a couple days later to retrieve it, but it was also just an excuse for us to come back and try more of the delicious food!
Will be coming back here any time I’m in Niagara. This place is a must-visit for anyone vacationing in the area. Most of the food in the heart of Niagara is not good, so make the 20 minute drive and come here instead.

So glad Ma Chinese Cuisine is back open after their long closure from the fire. Whenever I’m in St. Catharines, this is one of my must-visit spots. I almost always order the Peking duck — the kids love it, my wife loves it, and I’m a big fan too. The table-side carving is a great touch, and for the area, the food is surprisingly authentic and well executed.
Prices are a bit higher, but the quality and service make it worth it. Easily one of the top Chinese food options in St. Catharines for me. Solid 8.5. I’ll definitely be back.

This restaurant has become my absolute must-visit whenever I’m on a short getaway to Niagara Falls. The food is consistently incredible.
I am especially impressed by their dim sum menu—everything is fresh and flavorful. The portions are incredibly generous (the fried rice could easily feed two!) and the crab soup is an absolute must-try. Honestly, everything I’ve ordered has been amazing.
The dining experience is just as good as the food. The area is comfortable and feels spacious, with a good amount of privacy between tables. It’s also a fantastic place for groups, as they have private rooms that can accommodate larger parties.
If you’re looking for authentic, high-quality Chinese food near St. Catharines, look no further. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved my experience at MA.
The atmosphere is lovely. Great aesthetic. The tables are large and spacious. Bathrooms clean.
The cocktails were fantastic. Well balanced and delicious. The cheeky lychee and the toki cha in particular were lovely.
The food was so good. The bbq buns were fresh and delicious. But the peking duck was the stand out. Carved at the table and served with fresh pancakes, sauce, cucumber and onion. it was exceptionally well prepared and delicious. Truly a delicacy. The shredded duck with veg for the second course was equally beautiful. The flavours and textures were incredible. And the portion sizes were great.
The service was also fantastic. They were attentive and helpful.
10/10 I will be back.

This is what I would call “HIGH END CHINESE” food. Extensive Menu. Ray helped us through this! As Authentic as you get outside of Chinatown. ( it’s in Toronto for you less traveled folk) The food is delicious. Lots of selection. Very Pleased to have experienced the work of a Chef within the Chinese Food segment! Thank you.

Fantastic dining experience! Our server Krishani was wonderful and the ambience perfection, but the food was just an absolute knock out of the park one dish after the next, leaving you full and satisfied. Most dishes on the menu are larger family style and we tried quite a few, including the Peking Duck combo (which they slice table side for the first course – a nice touch), stir fried seafood, traditional DongPo pork belly (melt in your mouth delicious), Cantonese crispy noodles, braised beef in brown sauce, Xiaolongbao, and Char Siu Bao buns (the best version I’ve had). Clearly, each item is crafted with skill and care. We also tried a few of the desserts, but found the red bean coconut pudding and mango layered sponge cake to be lacking in flavour, however the custard lava yolk buns and red bean pancakes were delicious. Hands down we will be returning again as their menu is very extensive with so many other things to try! As well, the washrooms are very nice which is a good touch.
