LOVE this place and low-key consider it a hidden gem. Prices are so reasonable, even after having gone up in January – lunch special is $8. Portions have shrunk some (that’s to be expected when prices go up) but it’s still enough food to fill you up. Occasionally they’ll get something small wrong (fried rice when I asked for white), but everything I’ve ordered from here is tasty, which is what not only keeps me coming back, but keeps me telling my coworkers about this place.

I had been going to this place for years (and they’ve had the best lunch specials), but I haven’t been in at least a decade. I went yesterday – be careful.
I was served slimy white rice. I had a spoonful and then I knew it was a bad rice. That’s too bad because the main dish (beef) was pretty good to as usual.

I usually don’t have good experiences with small businesses, but this place was definitely what I expected!. My family and I went in and ordered the orange chicken, lo mein and white rice. The food was delicious. The lady there was really nice. It’s a good hidden spot I definitely recommend.

I have been coming here for years for a good smoothie. Their smoothies never disappoint. They are very close to the DMV so it is nice to have a small, locally owned business nearby. Also I have to note, their service is so friendly. Every time I enter, it never feels hostile. I can not wait to try more of their dishes.
Update: I tried their orange chicken. It is delicious and pretty good priced. Definitely recommend it.

I grew up eating at Hunan Spring almost 15 years ago, so I stopped by hoping to relive an old memory with a friend after coming from Bensenville. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The lady who works there was nice, but the man was very rude. He gave me the wrong items, and when I called, he hung up on me. That kind of customer service is unacceptable. Be careful with your order and double-check it. I don’t usually write reviews, but this was a horrible experience especially compared to the good memories I had here years ago.all because I wanted so order lunch specials.?

I ordered General Tso’s chicken as depicted in the photograph. While the chicken was nice, the rice is the same style of rice that feels dry that is used by most American Chinese restaurants (likely for its low cost).
Portion size is fair, and some chicken pieces felt too large – especially since the only utensils they provide are a plastic fork.

I have been a customer for 10 years and the spicy shrimp fried rice is amazing. They also prepare your food quickly! I ordered last week and it was at my house in 15 minutes. Anyone in the area should try this place!
