Bel Mare is the perfect waterfront spot to pause, relax, and enjoy the moment. We stopped in for a quick break and were pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. I had a watermelon margarita — refreshingly sweet with just the right kick — and it instantly became my new favorite twist on a classic cocktail.
To go with it, we ordered shrimp and crispy onion rings. The shrimp were fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor, while the onion rings were golden, crunchy, and addictive. The combination, along with the laid-back atmosphere and beautiful view, made for a perfect pit stop.
Whether you’re here for a full meal or just drinks and snacks, Bel Mare delivers a great experience. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

A diamond in KW!!! Spectacular food, and the service treatment we got from Michael was perfect!! Scallops (huge) with pork belly and a lobster scampi. Even the mashed potatoes that came with the scallops were out of this world delicious!!! We asked Miachel to pair a nice wine with our dinner selections, and it was wonderful. I would give this place more stars if it was an option. We will be eating here on every future trip to KW, and we will be asking to have Michael as our server!!!

Excellent high end Italian in an upscale atmosphere, overlooking the docks. Great service, food, and wine list. A nice break from typical Key West seafood fare.

Bel Mare did italian well, they focused on seafood mainly. The interior is very nice, our waiter was very friendly. The Cocktail I had was well made and had some complex flavors that made it worth savoring. For a nice italian meal in Key West I would recommend this place.

Great location, service was good, food was ok. Steak needed seasoning and was very rare for “medium”. Crab cakes were delicious, Lobster risotto was ok, Maine crab, not local.

Have been to Key West many many times for the last 30 years, and Bel Mare is my new favorite. The food was awesomely delicious, and the view was perfect. Our server, Dayron, was amazing. He made the dining experience an exceptional one. I would like to give 6 stars for service.

OK, new favorite place in Key West, amazing meal every time we go. Mothers Day deal was over the top great, fried lobster! Best craft cocktails at the bat! Always a.nice meal. Food is always fresh, well thought out menu. Everything is made in-house, and flavors do not disappoint. We love the appetizers for sharing. Pastas are house made also, and they show in the taste. Staff is always on point with knowledge about dishes and never had to ask or wait for refills. They are professional and polite. Views are amazing of the harbor, and sitting inside looking out over the harbor is great. I never give 5 stars unless I am impressed, 5 stars for them. Sit at the bar, bartender makes the best drinks and knows her stuff. One of the best old fashioned on the island. Also, the in-house drink menu does not disappoint either. Speaking on that, into wine? Go here. Best selection hands down.

I surprised wife while we were in town visiting for our anniversary. Called ahead and fortunately got the special romantic table on the small solo balcony. What a beautiful setting, excellent service from our waiter, and great food. We left very impressed with the overall experience and highly recommend. Pictures do not do the food justice. And I forgot to take pictures of the view. I was in the moment. I had an even better view in front of me.

Beautiful location over looking the harbor, great for a romantic night out. We ordered some appetizers (the prosciutto plate and some oysters) along with a bottle of wine. This was a special occasion for us so a bit of splurging but we didn’t go with most expensive bottle. The Lignum was newer and only by the bottle so none of the staff had gotten a chance to sample it at that point. (Semi sweet with a slight tart flavor and a chocolaty finish if you are wondering)
If you like oysters like then I would recommend these. Came with hot sauce and lemon of course but also a red wine vinegar that was particularly good and my favorite.
For dinner I got the clam linguine. It was incredible! Clams were done perfectly and freshly made pasta took it to another level. The sauce that they make for this dish is so light and delicious that I am going to have to attempt to recreate it (I will fail in that but if I get close I’ll be happy)
We ended up with dessert plans elsewhere so I can’t comment on their offerings on that front. If it was anything like the rest of the experience then I am sure it was delicious.
Highly recommend for a splurge night (of if you are rolling in it go ahead and eat here a couple times)

We had dinner here on New Year’s Eve. It was a prefixed menu. I feel that the prefix price for the quality of the food suffered extremely! However, he gets better. It’s took an hour for them to drop our entrées. We saw the server, maybe three times. When my surf and turf was delivered. Three of our fillets were overcooked, the mashed potatoes were cold and so was the lobster tail. Our meal took three hours. You would think that if you have to choose certain food and courses, they would have better scheduled well articulated chefs in the kitchen and service.
