The burrito according to Lenny was incredibly satisfying; it was light on the palate yet filled with a variety of savory meats that lent a delightful flavor.
To start off, the complimentary chips and salsa were a nice touch. The salsa, while a tad heavy on the tomatoes, was still flavorful and enjoyable. The chips, though lacking diversity in color, were served warm and delightfully crunchy.
I decided to try the margarita sampler, which was a fun choice. The lime margarita was a standout for me, with its refreshing and cool lime taste. The watermelon option was a bit too thick and sweet for my liking, but the mango margarita proved to be a refreshing and slightly sweet choice.
Finally, I couldn’t resist trying the chicken nachos, and I’m so glad I did. They were bursting with flavor, without being drowned in an overpowering cheese sauce like in some other establishments. Overall, my visit to this Mexican restaurant was a satisfying and delicious experience.
Fiancé called in an order for chimichangas meal under favorites. I went to pick up on my way home from work and asked the young lady at cash register if she could make sure it had the guacamole and queso on it like it was supposed to. She kindly opened the bag checked the meal and said no it didn’t but she would go get me some. Took her about 5 minutes and when she came back with the guacamole and queso in little travel cups and placed them in the bag for me, I thanked her and paid with a tip included and left. Got home and looked at receipt and noticed I was charged $4.42 extra for the guacamole and $3.90 extra for the queso – which the chimichangas meal was supposed to have on it according to the menu.
Not sure why I was charged extra to include toppings the menu indicated the meal was supposed to have on it. First experience here and most likely the last for me. I highly recommend checking receipts for a pick up order before you leave this restaurant. $8.32 in extra charges is almost another meal!!
Take out orders take forever. Sometimes they are never submitted to the kitchen.
Eating in, serving staff frequently seem overworked and overwhelmed.
Quality of food and drinks varies. Some items on the menu are consistent and decent. Other items, they don’t seem to know how to make.
Im really hoping their new management can get it together. Would really love to give them 4 or 5 stars in a few months, but I do not have high hopes.
