Food was amazing, had the cutest, chillest atmosphere, and ran by just a couple busy people you can tell are so passionate about what they do. Just what I needed. The opposite of a tourist trap! Give these people your business! Now! Don’t wait an hour to be seated at another brunch place and come here instead.

Such a hidden little gem! Our family of 4 dined for breakfast shortly after opening, on a Sunday morning in wintertime. We stepped up to order at the counter, & owner Linda, was very pleasant. Her menu has a variety of breakfast items for everyone – from veggie omelets, to quiche from scratch, to French toast, & of course, homemade pastries. Our oldest ordered the French toast & it looked sweet & delicious (he devoured it before I could try a bite, unfortunately). (See photo) Our youngest had a homemade maple bar – omg yum. It was so fresh that it was still warm! The hubs & I each had the croissant breakfast sandwich. (See photo). So yummy! Good cut of ham, melty cheddar, & fresh scrambled egg. A side of fresh berries was served alongside the entrees. The atmosphere is quaint & cute – eclectic mismatched solid hardwood tables & chairs with fresh flowers on the tables in a historic mason hall. We sat at a table right at the window & there is a lovely view of the Nehalem River. We’ll definitely be back anytime we take a trip to Rockaway! Thanks Linda!

Food was really good and filling. The lady at the counter was so sweet and it was a great experience with the fresh flowers on every table and the cleanliness was great. Quiet and perfect atmosphere. There was only one other table when we walked in and when we left we were the only table. This place should be busier with how good it is! Maybe it’s busier earlier in the morning. Where we sat it was such a beautiful view of the river. If I ever come back to this area I will be back here for breakfast!

This place is crazy good. We had the quiche of the day(crab) which was possibly the best quiche I have ever had. Baked goods are also incredible. The cinnamon roll and maple bar are the best I’ve had in Oregon

Just had breakfast here this morning with my husband and I have to say it was one of the best veggie omelets I have ever had. The hash browns were also delicious. Definitely try there Italian sodas they have the best flavor and they are not too sweet at all. Will definitely come back to this place if we are in the area.

We decided to start the day with a hearty breakfast at Handy Creek based on the reviews. My Latte was really good. Mike said his coffee was OK. We both got the 2 egg breakfast and it took over 20 minutes to get out meal. It was really busy and only two people to cook, run the register, make coffee, deliver food, etc. I think it would have been so much better had we just ordered a Danish and coffee. The staff is very friendly, and a good location.

A gem! We grabbed a couple of scones and a cinnamon roll on the way home from the coast. The pastries were incredible. You can tell the ingredients are high quality and the bakers highly-skilled. Beautiful atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!

Cool little cafe. Our group of five stopped in for a late breakfast. Although there were only two people working we got our 5 omelets quickly. Food was tasty and the coffee was good.

Really cozy place, glad I spent my Saturday morning here. The drip coffee was good and the croissant sandwich was super tasty, enough for two meals for me. Even the berries that came with it were good, which is not often the case. I look forward to taking my family/friends here. Spent $20.

We were on our way to Yolk in Manzanita and I was preparing myself for a long wait. Stopped here to check out the baked goods and so glad we did. Stayed for the breakfast and relaxed, quiet atmosphere. Will definitely be on our list next time we visit.
