A good bowl of Pho – a bit greasy when I visited.

Their pho Tai was pretty good and it doesn’t have strong smell of herbs or canned broth. Restaurant is tidy. Only thing was broth was a bit too greasy – it could be an isolated incident t on the day I visited. Their iced Vietnamese coffee is VERY sweet!

Owner changed, now it’s Pho 68. They are picking up customers only because of Pho 86’s fame. We went in not noticing the change and it’s the last time we will eat here. The broth is salty and lacking at the same time. The meat isn’t sliced right and very tough to eat. There are too many pho restaurants in this area to go here. We cannot recommend.

Today morning was the first time I brought my wife and kids to this place. From looking outside, it just looks like any other store. Once we were inside, I was feeling…safe. All the tables were 6 feet apart. We ordered and it did not take that long. Egg rolls were impressive. Spring rolls were fresh. Our Pho was awesome. Broth was so good. My wife’s Chicken Pho…was great. She did not complain this time…her chicken pieces being dry. While I was paying, the gentleman who took our orders said, “We been here 7 years and try to keep the authenticity consistent.” Now, that is how all restaurant owners should think and act. We will be back.

First time here at 8am before work and I tried the Pho Ga Long (chicken pho with liver, gizzard, and heart) and I requested dark meat. The broth was a tiny bit on the bland side for my liking but the dipping sauce helped it reach the perfect flavor. I ordered a large bowl but I didn’t feel like the large was as large as they normally come at other places. Also, at a price of $9.75, I expected to be full after eating it. Overall, it was good. I just wish I felt like I was getting more bang for my buck.

My dad tried the Pho Dac Biet which he said was really good. I tasted the broth and decided it was also a bit bland for my tastes. But hey that’s okay right? We all have different palates.

The customer service was on point. The manager was a younger guy, which explained why customer service was better than a place with older Asian employees. The music that was playing was EDM (Electronic Dance Music) so that fit perfectly with my music tastes and I’m sure also caters to a younger crowd.

I would try this place again!

There was hair in the dipping sauce for the chicken pho. We also found another hair in my dad’s pho bowl and they didn’t say anything about it when we told them. The broth didn’t have much taste to it. The beef was very dry. The service was okay.

Khanh serves the best organic chicken pho in Socal. I’ve been eating pho my whole life and ate at a particular restaurant in San Jose, but ever since I moved down here I couldn’t find one with tender juicy chicken chunks and savory broth. And I’ve looked all over!

Every where you go they have dry stringy over cooked chicken. But not here! The pho is so good here I always order two bowls just for myself. And to boot, the nostalgia it brings back of my days as a kid are priceless. Khanh cooks the pho traditional style here. You know the kind – tasty, flavorful, mouth watering goodness!

So if you are looking to have your stomach satisfied, get yourself here asap!

Attached is a photo of my two bowls!

They change the restaurant name to “The Moo Gelato & Eats” but overall the same 3.5% fee on the payment as many bad reviews about this. So when you use credit card they want to profit on the fees on your card.

I eat out alot and this is my first time seeing this “Non cash payment” charge and when I asked the lady cashier said this is the restaurant policy.

If you haven’t tried their Pho, this is the most authentic-tasting Pho there is. The broth is amazing, not super salty like most places. I would even drink the broth like a tea. Mouth watering.

Additionally, the brisket beef was such great quality, not chewy like the other places in GG. It was nicely thinly sliced, and delicious.

The wait is not even long, so why not check this place out now.

Will definitely be back.

PS, so sorry, we forgot to tip, so we will come back and drop a fat tip next time.
