Korner Lounge is the second oldest LGBTQ bar in the state, with 70+ years serving our community. There are drag shows multiple times a month, community events, live music, trivia, karaoke and open mic. It’s my second home, and I’m lucky to have had a hand in helping with their entertainment and social media. If you go, you’ll see why it’s so many folks favorite place.

As the new guy on the block, I decided to check this place out based on reviews. It was not a regrettable decision. The bartender Jason was very hospitable, great drink prices, splendid music selections. The local patrons were neighborly, very supportive and inclusive as I felt right at home within minutes of walking in. It’s a great place to kick off the evening/ night for pregame, chill n chat, vibe out, before venturing to larger venues if that’s your thing.

Fun little LGBT+ bar! Stopped in to support the local gays. Lots of drink specials depending on the night. We went on a Tuesday so not a ton of people but was very fun to just hang out and have a drink. Also showcases art from local artists so we love that.

The Korner Lounge is hands-down one of my favorite local spots! The atmosphere is always welcoming, the drinks are strong (and reasonably priced!), and the bartenders know how to make everyone feel like a regular—whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth.
There’s always something going on—from karaoke nights and drag shows to theme parties and special events—and the energy is unmatched. It’s a true staple of the LGBTQ+ community in Shreveport, but everyone is welcome here.

Stopped in to collect on some work at the owner’s other property. We were the only two there in until I left 700 dollars richer (not counting the work pay) playing their video poker whole I enjoyed a cold beef and shot.
