Village Pizza & Pasta

So I’ve been here before and only had their Carolina Pasta and Spaghetti and Meatballs, which were good. That being said, here recently I tried their pizza and it was absolutely delicious! I am hooked now and becoming a regular! I would definitely recommend the bbq chicken pizza and their primavera pizza is also delicious. The crust is amazing with the perfect crisp! The pizza sauce they use is equally amazing! Perfect pairing and looking forward to trying all their variety of pizza’s!

I order 2 slices or squares of the Sicilian, it was 10 out 10 the sauce was soft yet flavorful not overly sweet or salty had the perfect balance. The dough was very thick and soft with the right amount of salt and oil the bottom was crunchy and delicious. I am of Italian ancestry I highly recommend this place. I will comeback for sure.

Service from cashier was good, the stars are solely for her, but the cook up front seemed unpleasant. My veggie sub is cold bread, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion (asked for no onion) doused in olive oil. I don’t even want to eat it. I work in the food industry and would never serve this to someone. This lack of quality/care is so common. Very disappointed

Me & my sister-in-law ate lunch there today, first time for both of us; sorry to say this but it was absolutely the WORST lasagna I’ve ever eaten! She said the say about her spaghetti it comes with non-toasted french bread why in the world does garlic bread cost extra? I seriously doubt we’ll go back there! (& I know us not going back doesn’t affect their business one bit but I wanted to still share our review)!

I love this place. They actually do pizza by the slice and u don’t need to sit there with a waiter/wastress just to get pizza. I’m from Long Island, the king of pizza, and think place couldn’t hold it’s ground there, but they are AMAZING for NC pizza. Also, it like 5 min from my house so that helps

Magic Sunsets

Absolutely horrible experience. We stopped to charge our car and for lack of better options we picked this place that looks completely run down. I ordered to go food, the man there was extremely rude and was rushing me to order faster and was making faces because my kids changed their mind. After I picked up the order and went back to the car I realized I have zero forks and zero napkins so I had to walk back. I received my forks and the guy tuched the heck out of them in the attempt to wrap them in napkins. Finally I go back to the car and open the container, the food is completely uneatable, I picked the veggie pasta with broccoli, the broccoli is old, looks bad and pasta is overcooked and drenched in canola or soy oil!

Food is reasonably priced. If you order pizza by the slice, they will add your requested toppings to an already cooked piece and reheat. If you order an entire pie, it’s made fresh. That being said, I still like the pizza and order by the slice when by myself. Service is fine and staff is friendly.
