Jamey’s custom-made cakes, tarts and other bakery items are stellar. For my daughter’s 21st, she made this cake. I told her my daughter liked “vintage” and she interpreted it so creatively — and spot on! Not only was the cake unique and beautiful — it was absolutely delicious. I also order a gorgeous lemon tart every Easter, which the entire extended family looks forward to. Highly recommend for special occasion bakery items. PS her blueberry muffins are the best I’ve had.

First time going and definitely will be back for our last day in state tomorrow. The staff and owner is beyond kind and quick to get your orders done. I got an iced latte with a mocha shot and a veggie cream cheese everything bagel…needless to say it was the best coffee I’ve had in the area and their bagels are NY styled. Fresh Cup hosted my daughter’s baby shower this weekend. The food, atmosphere, and customer service was beyond compare. Jamey and her staff were amazing. All the guests felt comfortable and welcome. The Turkey Mozzarella Melt was perfectly savory and gooey—a deeply satisfying sandwich that is now my daughter’s new favorite thing. My personal highlight was the Chicken Salad Sandwich, which I ordered on their gluten-free bread. It’s genuinely some of the best gluten-free bread I’ve ever tasted, proof that they take quality seriously across the board when gluten free can be hit or miss. We also enjoyed a classic Everything Bagel with cream cheese, which was fresh and perfectly toasted.

Fresh cup is the best. I moved up here during covoid and felt very disconnected. Once everything opened up again I found fresh cup. The owner and people behind the counter are wonderful, make me feel right at home and part of the community. Their vanilla chai is the best. I have also ordered baked goods for a party and they were all gone. Huge hit. I look forward to visiting a couple times a week. It’s my cheers, where everyone knows my name!

2/3/2024–Stopped at this charming coffee shop when I needed to use the bathroom and wanted a fresh black decaf. Ample parking, fast service, and the cozy atmosphere made it a delightful stop. I appreciate that it’s a mom-and-pop business, not a Dunkin’ chain. The background music added to the experience, and clean bathrooms were available. Plenty of comfortable seating inside, with an option for outside seating if you want to enjoy the cold weather. The decor is tasteful and not overwhelming, with soft pastel wall colors. The well-lit counter and lounge chairs create a perfect spot to enjoy a good book by the gas fireplace. I highly recommend this spot for a relaxing coffee break.

I had lunch at fresh cup today for the first time in a few years and it was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and I had a strawberry cookie that was fabulous. Their breakfast sandwiches and made in house pastries are to die for, and their seasonal drinks are spot on! Or even their staple iced coffee will give you the caffeine kick you need

Terrible customer service! This place looked cute from the sidewalk but my friend and I were beyond upset by the staff’s behavior. After receiving our food, I asked the counter person about our drinks. She pointed at the counter and said “right here.” But I didn’t see anything and said so. And she impatiently said “we’re making it right now.” That was not remotely clear in her previous comment, and we couldn’t see behind the counter what they were doing. So I turned to my friend and rolled my eyes privately, not intending to say anything publicly. Another staff member, who seemed to be in charge, was wiping tables nearby and saw me make a face and asked if there was a problem. When I tried to tell her what happened, she got huffy and aggressive. (Why did she ask if there was a problem if she wasn’t going to listen?) Then she stalked back to the counter and told the other staff to ignore us. Not surprisingly I got upset and raise my own voice. I went up to the counter trying to explain myself. And a third staff member suggested I walk myself right out the door. The manager escalated the situation unnecessarily, and she seems to have taught this approach to her staff. I felt like a criminal, not a paying customer. At least she gave me a refund when I asked for it. But I was upset and shaking after the encounter. We ended up at Honey Dew instead, where the staff was kind and helpful.
