Delicious ice cream with a wide variety and average prices. They get VERY busy on weekends, though and the line moves a little slower than I’d expect. They have a good amount of outdoor seating, but even with six large picnic tables, they ate often all full. Even if they are busy, it’s worth the wait.

Been a few years since(2022) I have scouted this location for the Golden Cone App..Last visit was not so memorable, but this visit was a 5 star visit. I know they have been working hard on constant improvement and that hard work is paying off. I just picked a radom flavor with Graham Cracker Cheesecake and it was fantastic. Close to a perfect score as you can get. I had some ice cream at event off their new truck, which was good, but this flavor was top not ch. Not sure if many people order this flavor or not, but will be on my order list on my next visit. Great Job Alpine.

We recently visited this ice cream shop near Lake Mohawk. The shop offers a variety of flavors, and we tried the banana milkshake, orange slushy, and chocolate ice cream. The flavors were decent, with the banana milkshake being a highlight. The orange slushy was refreshing, although a bit too sweet for our taste. However, the real star of the show was the location. In just a minute of walking distance, you can sit by the lake and enjoy your ice cream while taking the beautiful views of Lake.

Excellent creamery with a lot of flavors. This is one of the best American style ice creams in North Jersey. The maple Walnut is excellent. The chocolate flavored ice creams are a bit sweet to my taste and would prefer a darker chocolate to be used. But it is definitely on the top of the list along with Taylor’s.

Prices vs size are an absolute joke.
$12.25 for what equates to really nothing. I thought I’d be getting something to share, a reasonable size considering that it’s milk, sugar and some time in the cold. Once again another establishment in Sparta feels their products warrant absurd prices for partial portions.
If you don’t believe me, in the pic I shared, that’s a 4 pack of AA lithium batteries. At this price, I’d rather eat the batteries than pay for ice cream that is sub-par and overpriced.

I tried to get whipped cream for my dog and they refused. We insisted we would even pay for it because we use it to train our dog in public and the girls said they would get in trouble for even selling it to us. Bad business policy to turn away money. Used to be our weekly spot, not anymore.
