If you don’t know to much about Chinese Food, it gonna be a little complicated order. Menu doesn’t have pictures but you can guide for the name of each plate (like shrimp on lobster sauce or cesame chicken) . Room enough at table for 4 or 8 people a lot food on large size dishes and tasty food

It’s not bad food, but it’s not great food, just good enough. Portion sizes are large enough. They have a small amount of dine in spaces inside the restaurant, but I get the impression this is a take out most of the time, for most people. Few vegetarian entrees.

Don’t bother to go here. The food is not good.. I came in for dinner. Although the fake pandemic is over and there are several dine in tables, they all have signs saying Take Out only! 10/18/22. I ordered the Chicken in Garlic sauce. There were a few onions and maybe a sliver of bell pepper. Mostly it was juice. No taste of the breath of the dragon. The chicken was chewy. The sauce was more like American brown gravy than the savory and sweet garlic sauce. I wanted a combo meal but that is only for lunch. I threw this food out and made a sandwich. Yeah it was that bad. I will not be going back.

I miss you. The community will never forget you. You had the perfect combination of good food, great prices, and mediocre customer service and atmosphere that made this the perfect neighborhood Chinese spot. You didn’t want to hang around to eat in there, but it was just good enough that you waited the extra 10-15 minutes in the store when they were running late with your order.
We love you Rising Sun, we miss you Rising Sun, we need you Rising Sun. We hope someday you will find a way to come back.

I would give it zero stars if possible. I oredered beef and broccoli and as you can see in this picture that is not what i got. It was more like beef and veggies. The sauce was not good at all. I also ordered crab rangoon pork fried rice and an egg roll. The crab rangoon had very little filling in it. The egg roll was just ok. I will say the pork fried. Rice was the best part. So i spent almost 25 dollars in food and asked for some extra sweet and sour sauce and they charged for it. I could not believe they charged me extra for a thimble sized sweet and sour sauce. Very upsetting. I do not suggest this place to anyone. Drive the extra mile and find somewhere else to go. I will not go back.

The best Cantonese food in the area. You have to go at least 20+ miles North to get something comparable. The service is fast and the food has never disappointed me in the last 15 years! I also have experience eating stuff, so this isn’t like eating stuff from the freezer. You won’t be disappointed. The shrimp with lobster sauce is amazing. Also must try the tangerine chicken if you like anything fried.

Best Chinese food in the midwest. Hands down. I’ve been coming here for over 20 years. The egg rolls are to die for!! The house fried rice is amazing. Two of my favorites. Everything I’ve ever gotten has been overly delicious. I highly recommend this place and it’s food. You will not be disappointed.

I was told 20 to 25 minutes for my food . I made it there in 10 minutes. I waited the additional 15 minutes. Hoping for fresh hot food . My food was cold . My shrimp toast was burnt along with the fried rice. Call and spoke to the manager. She said sorry and hung up on me . Not even a offer to make it right.
Nothing like the one in Mokena.
Will never step foot in this store again

A little above average. Egg rolls could have been crisper. My wife loved her Steak Kow,enough for 3 meals. The fried rice was very good. My beef w pea pods n water chestnuts was good, could have ben a little more flavorful. All in all we’d go back.

It’s a Cantonese takeout place in a small town in Illinois so… there’s that. What they lose in quality, they make up in quantity. The fried rice is decent, but only… decent. The staff are extremely courteous. The turnaround when ordering is quick. It isn’t really a dine in place, I mean you can dine in, but the place isn’t really set up for a relaxing dining experience. You get what you pay for here.
