I’m leaving this place a 1-star review purely because of the way guests are treated here.

We came to the restaurant on March 6. The place was almost completely empty. We had several shopping bags with us, so we politely asked if we could sit at a table for four, simply because there was no space to place our bags at a small table for two.

The waiter refused and suggested that we just put our bags on the floor. We then asked to speak with the manager, expecting a more reasonable solution. Unfortunately, the manager’s reaction was even more surprising. From the start he was noticeably negative and категорically refused our request to sit at a larger table, despite the restaurant being practically empty.

When we said that in that case we would simply leave, the manager started waving his hands at us, gesturing for us to go away.

Honestly, this was one of the most unprofessional interactions I have ever experienced in a restaurant. Such behavior from a manager raises serious questions about the standards of service in this place.

If this is considered normal customer service here, it says a lot about how guests are valued.

I hope the restaurant management can comment on whether this kind of treatment towards visitors is acceptable in their establishment.

Had a satisfying meal overall, with the Half Chicken in Lemon Cream Sauce as the main highlight. The chicken was tender and nicely roasted, with a rich, velvety lemon cream sauce that added a pleasant tang without being overpowering. The portion was generous and comforting, making it a solid choice if you’re craving something hearty.

What truly surprised me, though, were the sides. The mac and cheese was creamy and indulgent, but the Brussels sprouts and cauliflower nearly stole the spotlight. Perfectly roasted with crispy edges and a deep, savoury flavour, they added texture and balance to the meal — bold, addictive, and far from the usual “just a side” dish. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience that I’d gladly return for.

Although there was a long queue, we were seated quite fast.
Chicken: The chicken breast was rather soft and powdery? But the thigh is slightly better. The mushroom sauce is good.
Ox tail: I enjoyed the ox tail pasta. It was delicious, the ox tail is soft.
The mushroom soup is super good as well.
Desserts: The creme brulee is rather chocolatey and abit too thick. The tiramisu has too much cream, and too little ladyfingers.

Overall, its alright. Nothing too special and not worth the 4.8 stars. The staff gets customers to give ratings so their ratings are overrated. I think it should be maybe around 4.1 stars instead.

We had lunch on a weekday and the restaurant was not full therefore we got a table right away. As we enter, the smell of roasted chicken was enticing. We ordered half a chicken and a French onion soup. I find the soup to be rather salty. The chicken was nice and tender and the peppery sauce goes well with it. The restaurant ambiance was simple but can be noisy.

We got our food very fast even though it’s a lil crowded. And the food is hot still. The short haired malay manager/staff was very kind to assist us with whatever we need.
The win was the sausage little toast. And we went on a Sunday evening peak hours.

Very yummy at Poulet ION Orchard outlets. My colleagues recommended to me this halal western food restaurant.
Most restaurants I try it, really goods then recommended . If no good then I didn’t recommended.

I tried Poulet restaurant really tasty & yummy. Specifically their signature roasted chicken , so soft & nice. Mushroom soup fantastic taste & creamy. Pasta & mango pudding also good . I definitely will go and try other dishes again.

You can’t really go wrong with this place I guess – with over 20K reviews and a score of 4.8/5! This was my 2nd visit and I think the 3 dishes I chose for my 3-course feast were all different from my first visit.

I had the pan-seared bass which had a good texture and taste and it didn’t have a strong fishy smell, the truffle fries (which was recommended by many but I thought it was just alright) and the milk pudding, which was soft and not overly sweet so I liked it.

Service was slow however the food and atmosphere did not disappoint. For me,it wasn’t worth the wait because the food is average but it could’ve been worse so yeah. I did end up loving the dessert and main the most so I would still recommend going here if you have lots of time 🙂

Reached the restaurant at about 6.45pm on a Thursday and had to queue for 15 minutes to get a seat. We ordered the $28++ 3‑course set (Glazed Winglet, Half Chicken, and Mango Pudding) and another Half Chicken with Mac & Cheese and Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Broccoli. The food arrived shortly after ordering, but unfortunately it wasn’t piping hot—just warm. It didn’t have the wow factor I remembered from my visit to Poulet years ago. Service could be improved, especially the server who seemed in a hurry to drop the food on the table and leave. Many groups were having gatherings or meet‑ups, and it was very noisy. Overall, it’s an okay place to eat, but don’t expect too much.
