The drinks were delicious and the service was friendly, but it was SLOW. They definitely don’t handle orders in the most efficient manner, resulting in a very crowded counter, and group orders having to wait 3 times as long as individual orders. There were 3 people working behind the counter. Instead of having drinks made in order, one person would handle the orders for each party. We had 3 people in our party and the girl took the 1st person’s order then left to make it, leaving the rest of us to wait at the counter to order while the other workers started making drinks for the people behind us instead of helping to get our drinks made. It didn’t help that the employee making our drinks was clearly new, and slower than the other 2 women working. It took us probably 20 min or more to get 3 drinks made. While at least half a dozen people that came in after us got their orders before us.

Such a delightful visit seeing the new display cases and food offerings. The only atmosphere I wished were better was wishing there were more customers and support from our community. Thanks for allowing me to use a gift card below your processing fee minimum.

Maria’s Coffee in Chester is such a gem! The service is always warm and friendly, and you can really feel the welcoming atmosphere. The coffee is excellent, full of flavor, and the food is fresh and delicious. Definitely a great spot to relax and enjoy a good cup of coffee. Highly recommended!

Very cute VERY tiny place. NO public restroom!
Only two tables on the outdoor patio, no indoor seating (because it’s too small). On the patio, they had a man strumming some pretty nice music (no singing, which was good). Nice atmosphere for sure!
I ordered a cold brew coffee with oat milk which was decent. I also got an apricot cookie which was delicious!
Staff was very friendly and they let me use my own cup for the coffee and filled my water cup, too! Only wish it was open later but it was Sunday after all.

Oh jeez, it’s stumbled upon this place trying to use the restroom to find out no restroom was available to use. But I ordered pistachio shaken espresso latter with oat milk. My. Goodness. What an amazing drink! Idk if I got thale name right but this was great. Also order a giant chocolate chip with m&ms cookie and wow so good.

From how cute it looked, both outside and in, I assumed I would love this place. Unfortunately, the coffee was just TERRIBLE. We got two different kinds of lattes, and they both tasted so, so bad. And I’m not picky about coffee. I don’t know how to describe the taste, but my husband said they tasted like when no one ever cleans or services an espresso machine. Add in an oddly… wet? muffin, and I dunno how this place stays in business. El Monte Coffee Roasters a couple streets back is 10x better (and about 1000x friendlier, I might add).

I found this place on a whim, as my mother and I were on our way to the local farm for the day. As soon as we were about to pass it, I said “mom! It’s so pretty, I have to go inside when we’re coming back.” I’m so glad I did! You can tell it’s a neighborhood spot as the locals were inside, chit chatting with either the owner or manager. The outside, of course, is what attracted me and it was so pretty! If we would’ve had time (and found food parking) I would’ve enjoyed my purchase outside in their seating area. I had ordered their walnut Blondie and the coconut lavender latte with oat milk. The Blondie was fave and the latte was tasty! It’s hard to find anything with lavender so it was a good treat to have. Their walls are lined with Italian cooking foods such as uncooked pastas and sauces. They also have other baked goods and sandwiches to go in their refrigerator. I’m from Manhattan, New York so it was a pleasant trip here, thank you for having me! I definitely suggest if you’re in the area for a coffee guys 🙂

Average coffee, nothing exceptional. The seating area was cozy but small, and the service was somewhat slow. Overall, it’s a mediocre spot for coffee, in my opinion.

Was waiting in line and happend to fall behind a large order. Didnt have the time to wait, so decided to bail. Just as I was outside walking across the street, Maria was right behind me asking me what I wanted. I ordered a quick espresso and Crumb Cake which was amazing. Had both within 2 minutes and I was back on my way. I will be back again soon. Had no idea this hidden gem of a coffee shop was even there. Now that I do, it will be part of my visits to Chester. The people who live in town have the best place to go for coffee and treats. Thanks for chasing me down, would have never had the chance to experience your fabulous coffee shop..Love this place. 🙂
