I wanted to eat a good fish and fantastic sides. I Google Map this location. Initially I thought it was a dine in restaurant, but it is more of a takeout and drive thru order type of space. They have table and chair for you to dine however you have to place your order first, pay and wait for your food. When you receive your food, it in a Styrofoam container. They nicely place the fish and shrimp on foil so that the sides don’t touch it. I know why they don’t need wait staff, the food speaks for itself. It was hot and delicious. Don’t need a fancy place, just good food. They also have outdoor seating. I will definitely return

The customer service here is lacking much! I had to say hello twice before anyone greeted me. It gives family owned business. There was a short menu and most of it wasn’t available on the day I went. The food on the other hand was delicious. The whiting and shrimp were fried well, and the yams were sweet. I didn’t have to add anything to the rice and gravy which means it was seasoned well. All-and-all I didn’t regret the trip.

100/10 absolutely loved everything I ordered. Cooked to perfection, the shrimp and fish were very flavorful and the batter was the perfect level of crisp. Lemon pepper wings are some of the best lemon pepper I’ve had! Great prices and food, Definitely coming back.

nice little restaurant with the bestttt food. lemon cake bites were amazing. collards were bombbbb, the sweet chili sauce on the wings was great, rolls were sweet like hawaiian rolls super good, the whiting fish was amazing. no complaints about the food qualify it was all amazing. $14 for 6 wings and two sides not a bad deal to me. $11 for 6 wings side of fries and a drink. if you ever in winston or around, i’d definitely check out this place.

Anyways, I got the lemon pepper wing combo and was happy to hear they had both dry and wet options. I got wet and Mac and cheese and yams for sides and a lemonade for a drink.
Oh my goodness gracious (pun intended), the food was amazing and delicious and I’m plotting on when I can make it back to try another dish or run back the wings.
I saw some of the negative reviews and an hoping they have all the internal kinks worked out because the food tastes homemade, the customer service is excellent, and the restaurant is as clean as a whistle. People asked if I was doing okay several times and I’m not one to be a bother but I might’ve should’ve asked for more napkins. That’s on me though.

Family owned business and guys if you haven’t tried it, it’s a must. Great food.! They have kool-aid for a drink too. I loved it. I brought my co workers and they each had different plates they loved it too. Fresh, and flavorful!

The plates are eqUally nice . I had the oxtail and I must admit you are not going to find any other oxtails In Winston Salem this good !! Was mad I didn’t get extra . The Drinks were Great taste like a good day when you were a kid I have to go back and try the rest of the menu but am sold on the Oxtails so meaty and juicy !!!!

Ok so this place needs help the fish is alright but I got the yams and collards disgusting. Can can can!! If your going to cook from the can make it taste like something, not the can (metallic taste) no seasoning in the greens and no sweetness in the yams. Potato salad is from a jar. It’s disgusting. Why why why. Just nasty.
