I have been to The Well Coffeehouse twice since they rebranded, and it is no longer the same study environment. They have replaced the faces of the children from third world countries for plain white and blue everywhere. Their mission is barely seen anywhere in their shop besides a couple water canteens by the bathroom. The overall rustic feel has been exchanged for a minimalist look that feels devoid of life. While vibes are not the end all for businesses, they mean a lot in coffeeshops. Unfortunately, the vibes are no longer good here and I will be taking my business elsewhere.
We had a very good meal there too!
Unfortunately, I failed to take pictures before we started eating.
The one picture is a breakfast burrito. Sweet potatoes, bacon, egg and cheese.
The other picture is a Brunch Bowl. Scrambled eggs, bacon, arugula on a bed or roasted sweet potatoes.
Can’t wait to return when back in the Nashville area.
The space is beautiful! The windows let in a ton of light, and they balanced this with a beautiful grey and dark wood tones. It’s a simple but really lovely space.
The staff were helpful and very nice. Our orders were delivered quickly (we ordered and ate and then ordered more coffees ) and correctly.
Our food was beautiful! And my latte was as well. I brought home half of my Eden bowl, too, which was quite delicious. 2 GF breakfast options (without any alterations needed) plus the ability to get GF bread is always a plus!
I haven’t looked into it, but a newspaper clipping in the bathroom mentioned it as a nonprofit? That’s pretty cool. They also have a wall on which you can place a wish and a donation bin for winter items, so the nonprofit tracks.
The prices are incredibly affordable considering the area, too.
